Almost every club in Holland has a remarkable jersey and a remarkable history of its own. The stadiums are - in most cases - reasonably sized. They're always full and they're all brand-new and state of the art.
It's a nice football league that is (very important!) still affordable for the real supporters. Football has not been stolen from the people yet, like in England.
Seriously: I kind of like it.

Through all my years of watching the Dutch league there is always one word that sticks out in my mind...colorfull :yes:. The fans,the atmosphere ( though i still have yet too see it live in person), the stadiums,the uniforms, every think is lush and vibrant. There`s always (well almost always) a positive vibe around the game's.
I think the Eredivisie can be proud :yes: ;)

The KNVB and the two clubs involved have now confirmed the exact date and kick-off time for Ajax vs ADO Den Haag: Thursday 09 November, 20:15 CET. We have updated the existed news report on Ajax USA accordingly and will update the matches page a.s.a.p.

And now it's Willem II away... It's where it ended (in semis) for us two years ago, but I still think it's a good draw.

Man that game brings me terrible memories....we had like 20 open chances and just could not put the damn thing in the net. An amazing miss by Steven Pienaar comes to mind.... :sad:

We can't complain about the draws we've had, can we? We've been pretty lucky in every single round. The 'road to De Kuip' was more like a 'stroll in the park'... Not a single opponent from, say, the top twelve of the Eredivisie. The first 'serious' one will be the final...

I like the draw and the timing of the match ( and the 22nd 's league encounter with Sparta) as I'll be travelling to Amsterdam from 04/18 to 04/24 ; with a side trip to Manchester on the 20th and 21st to witness the Ultimate Fighting matches. HUP AJAX! Can't wait.
