I still dont understand what the hell does Rosenberg do in the left, when we have Babel that could play there. I dont get why Charisteas is there and not huntelaar or rosenberg. I know this is just temporary until Sneijder gets back from his injury but putting players out of their positions never helps.
Lets hope the defense does well. Heitinga will surely play but Boakye and Schilder will probably play too, I hope they dont get too much pressure in this game. I trust this young players, I'm sure they will do well in the future but I'm worried about the timing. Ajax is through a crisis and now with this exodus of players we are facing bringing this young kids to play out of emergency is worrying.
Yeah ,i dunno too ,WHY BABEL DOES NOT PLAY...oh god...he could play in left and rosenberg in his right position...
and ,I do not think Klaas like our #10 is a good idea...God will help us...

almost confirmed...Schilder will debut...he is a central defender...
heitinga in our right back
Timsela and Boakye on the bench
Emanuelson in the midfield...
Vermoedelijke opstelling Ajax: Stekelenburg; Heitinga, Maduro, Schilder, Juanfran; Galasek, Huntelaar, Lindenbergh; Rosales, Charisteas en Rosenberg.

But Babel was utter crap in that position.
As to the youngsters - bring them on as they can hardly do any worse than their elders.

Babel is no more a winger than Rosenberg is, so why not play Rosenberg as left striker?
I think this formation has potential for more headed goals. If Rosales can get some decent crosses in (and he has done recently), having 2 strikers and a No. 10 who can all score with their heads makes life far more difficult for defenders than one lone central striker.
If that’s what Blind is thinking, playing Rosenberg not Babel makes more sense because I can’t remember the last time Babel headed a goal. If Huntelaar can be successful as No.10, it brings back a dimension to our game we have not have for several years. However immense their other qualities, we were never going to get many headed goals from short-arses like Van der Vaart, Sneijder or Pienaar.

LMAO!!!! you remind me of Co Adriaanse, he said the same thing about Wamberto and Machlas, after he signed Mido and Zlatan. His exact words were 'we were not going to get headed goals from midgets like Machlas and Wamberto, and this game (with Zlatan and Mido) proved that'
I think he was referring to a game inwhich they came on as a sub for those two 'midgets'. Having said that Im only 5ft 7inches lol

Rosenberg is evidently not happy playing on the left and I am sure KJH does not like the idea of no 10. Add to that Babel does not get agame and must be pissed off that leaves only 1 striker playing in his correct position Harri and Ajax have told him he is not wanted.A complete and utter shambles.

Heitinga and Maduro are crap defensively and Schilder is a débutant...
God, have mercy.

You've told me that you think he's a sure bet to make in the Eredivisie. What aspects of his game does he need to improve if he wants to succeed at Ajax?

Only one loss home against Utrecht in the last 20 years, guys. And that was a match right before the '97-'98 Dutch Cup Final at a moment that Ajax were already long crowned champions of that season. Statistically this game is in the bag.

He's undersized for a central defender. And he lacks passing skills to make it as a full back.
Next to that, he simply does the job.

Alright. Thanks for the info. :xyxthumbs:
So if we play him as a central defender we'd have to put a player with good passing skills next to him.

In my opinion Galasek isnt good enough to start for Ajax.

huntelaar in midfield? rosenberg on the left wing?
what the fuck is going on??
vermaelen and maduro at centreback... that's mighty inexperienced. perhaps escude shouldn't have been sold???
it's like a circus!!!
I'm starting to wonder if Danny Blind isn't getting money on the side from Feyenoord. It's like he's some kind of secret agent.

now groningen are winning too, meaning ajax will drop another place
hopefully this cloud will have a silver lining. this mentalist has to go before he causes more damage. (if there is anymore damage to cause, that is)
