Its a terrible indictment of this Ajax side that Wesley is our top scorer with 5 goals , that's 1 more goal than Rosenberg and Charisteas combined.
Midfield goals should be an extra not the main supply.

I think Babel should now play as the striker.

How a rattling good Sunday is ruined:-

Step 1: Cannot find railcard which entitles me to one-third off and my rail fare to London is £18 return.

Step 2: De Hems cannot tune into the channel showing the game.

Step 3: Buy a pint of beer - cost £4.10 - f**king hell I didn't want to buy the friggin pub.

Step 4: Ko texts me the score quickly followed by another text from a F-Word fan.

£4.10 for a beer ! OPH i pay under £3 for two pints of Caley 80 in the pub i frequent at the weekend. I can also buy Hoegaarden at around £2 a pint. Is £4.10 typical of london or is De Hems one of those fancy arsed bars?

My rugby team Glasgow (i have a season ticket ... football is way to expensive, even for lower level games) thumped Munster 32:10 on Saturday :cheer: :cheer:

Why did Ajax have to go ruin it all ? X'C

Where is De Hems, btw?

I'm in London on a course most of next week, and I thought I'd drop in for a pint Wednesday night. Are they likely to have the game on?

Just off Leicester Square. I'm sure OPH or SE6Ajacied will drop by and post the full address tonight or tomorrow.

If any channel in the world shows it they can put it on for you, at your request, I believe...

Ironicaly sad.... but true. :nooo:

Its amazing that after two years we are still suffering post Zlatan syndrome. And whats even more amazing is that the man that was responsable for his early departure has just kicked are butt. :pukey:

Just about finishes off a c**p week football wise.Seems Ajax have the same problems as Palace with the inability to keep clean sheets & players playing in position that at times seem alien to them.Someone point the way to the samaritans. X'C

Good analysis on the Kuyt/Kalou and Arveladze/Perez strike force. I hope this match gets Danny Blind to thik how he plays his game.

I'd rather call it the post-Shota syndrom : Zlatan never reached the level of Arveladze, apart a few moments of selfish genius.

Let's get one thing out of the way first: AZ deserved the win based on the second half. We were good in the first half; they were great in the second. Plus: they have two strikers who can score goals. Simple as that. We deserved this defeat. No problem with that.

Nevertheless I am getting sick and tired of this alcoholic f*cking creature named Roelof Luinge. The idiot did it again. That equalizer never crossed the line. It wasn't even on the line, it was well before it. Apart from that, the free-kick from which it was scored should not have been given in the first place.

This guy is a blind, retarded lunatic. The red card for Lindenbergh made no sense either. Arveladze (who was supposedly hit by Lindenbergh) was trying to talk Luinge out of it: no ref, don't send him off, it wasn't that bad. But Luinge thinks he is Jesus Christ. He'd seen it better than the 'victim' himself.

Jeeeezzz, what is this man's problem? What a friggin' nutjob. Wanker.

I wouldn't blame the linesman. It was hard to see.

Hmmm... IJzeren Rinus ('Iron Ronnie' :D ), the computer that can 'translate' real TV footage into a geometric animation for this purpose, came to a very different conclusion on Talpa: no goal. Very strange.

Anyway - perhaps the ball had crossed the line for 95% and not 100%, but to be honest I don't think you can reasonably blame the linesman for this one. I will update the match report accordingly. On TV they said it wasn't a goal, but it's not hard to accept that it was given, after having seen this picture.

From the angle of this picture, I'd say the ball didnt cross completly. Nevertheless Dutch refs suck, Ajax suck, and we have to deal with it.

I saw the goal on Eurosport, completely impossible to judge and that was from the side angle camera. The ref did not have that view so I do not know how he could give it. Sadly he did.

Its a safe bet that if the game would have been played in the Arena the ref would not have called that a goal. But who knows... Whats done is done anyways.

Bottom-line is: we deserved to lose. And we did, by a two goal deficit.

Of course the equalizer was a turning point in the game, but Ajax equalized just before half-time and we should have been able to play a normal second half. We didn't. We were outplayed and Perez made the difference.

End of discussion', if you ask me. Let's ask ourselved the question how we can improve, rather then 'did that ball cross the line or not?'
