Looking at the photographs on Fotoside of our Wesley's wedding, I think that it is about time the guy received a payrise to buy himself a suit that fits. :D

You guys concentrate on the bad suit. I just worry about two kids that look like 17 having a wedding. Wesleys dad looks more like he should be in the A-squad than Wesley does.

Yeah... Society changes, but footballers never do. They will always be traditional lads. One of the facts of life is that you get married around 20.

Also: she does the cooking and the cleaning, while you watch TV wearing your slippers, or lie on the couch thumbing through the new Voetbal International.

The world of football is one of traditional family values, I guess.

Golly it is a badly fitting suit, do you think he borrowed it off Raffie? That would explain why the legs are too long...

Having been married three times, I must admitt that I have had more than a passing interest in them and maybe I should have worn the same suit to each one to defray some of the costs. :yes:

According to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf Chelsea have shown interest in Wesley Sneijder. The London club reportedly want to buy him and loan him out to another Premiership club for at least one season.

Ajax, meanwhile, reportedly want to talk to Sneijder about a contract renewal. His current deal will expire in 2007. According to De Telegraaf Sneijder is positive about this and wants to extend his deal.

Smart move by Sneijder.Given the Stamford Bridge logjam, he has about as much chance of a regular place on the pitch as I do.

Chelsea are interested in Sneijder? Not only are Chelsea interested in every single major prospect/talent, they don't even need Sneijder. They have Frank Lampard and that Tiago.

This is a really big season for our Wes,lets hope he can get on with the job in hand now that VDV is out of the way.

Blind pretty much "discovered" wesley's talent, so im guessing hell b played a lot and hopefully does well...

Allright people hes getting the job done and is obviously are best player right now, so what do you think???? Has he matured??? Is he now capable of tacking control of the game??? Do you think he can continue with his current level of play or is this just a high point and not much else????

Someone at Ajax seems to have turned his brain on as Sneijder signed a new deal today. His contract now runs until june 30th 2009. :headbang:
