We all make mistakes - and he corrected this one very quickly, so: no problem. No hard feelings (my e-mail to him wasn't aggressive either).

In general:

You have a website and want to use an article published on Ajax USA? No problem. We're non-commercial so it doesn't 'damage' us (financially or mentally...). Feel free to use our text, as long as:

1. ... it is a 'one-off' thing
(don't publish our match reports on your website every week, or our 15 Years Ago articles every month or something)

2. ... you credit the source (Ajax USA) and, if listed, the author
(most of our stories have initials at the bottom: MP = Menno Pot, JM = Jim McGough, BV = Bastiaan Vercouteren, etcetera)

3. ... you put up a link to either the original article on Ajax USA or the Ajax USA homepage

4. ... you leave out photos taken from Ajax.nl
(we have official permission from Ajax.nl to use their photos; other websites do not have that permission)

If you respect the above four points there's not much of a problem. In any other case (and why not in every case?) please ask us. Why wouldn't you? Just drop us a line. If your intentions are good we won't turn yo down - and we'll figure something out.

I don't know if you guys have already seen this, but here's the latest thing which AJAX stands for - Asynchronous JavaScript and XML... :D . Its like a few years down the line, technology is going to take over all our names & make acronymns out of them. :worshippy:

As you may (or may not) have noticed the Ajax USA website is down at the moment. I have no idea what is wrong, but I've dropped Jim an e-mail. We're working on it.

Normally this is not for long. It seems like the problem normally solves itself. We'll have to wait and see.
