Tomorrow really early in the morning I fly from Gdansk to Stockholm. Will arrive there at 7 am. I am very confident about this one. My prediction is that we will win with 4-1 or 4-0.

Dude,if this was a home game then I wouldn't argue with you, however it isn't, so the game will not be as comfortable as one would like, esp. with Veltman at right back against Mikhtaryan!!!! And Mourinho is a finalist specialist, he has never ever lost a final in 90 minutes, he has won 11 out of 13 finals!

great, thanks cruijff! On the thalys now. trains stops at a crap hole named rotterdam as well, but only for a few minutes. should be in Amsterdam around 10

This game won't determine the entire season for either teams. However it will determine next season and in United's case, beyond.

If Ajax lose its back to square one, just like the beginning of last season with key players leaving e.g. Sanchez and Klaassen.

If Manchester united lose, they won't be able to sign players for next season and could steadily decline.

The game will be decided by which back line plays the best. ManU are not convincing in that regard and we have kids + Veltman on the back four. I've already made my sentiment about starting Tete pretty clear and if Veltman starts, I hope Bosz doesn't come to regret it.

No, Friends Arena in Solna will not feel like Amsterdam Arena, for the players it will feel even much better! From the moment they enter the pitch celebration is so loud you play this game on pure adrenaline. Man U fans have no chance producing even half the sound of Ajax will do, just listen attentful on tv!

Living in Helsinki, I feel almost embarrassed not being there. Couldn't get tickets and it would have been too much a gamble and a financial strain to try to score tickets from the black market. Have to settle for a tv in a sports bar that's probably full of ManU fans, since there is a long tradition in Finland of showing english football.

Can't help to think that this was a once in a lifetime chance to see Ajax play a game of this magnitude.

Me too. So, maybe this wasn't a one time thing. Maybe will see more big games in Europe in the future (If we can keep the core of this team for a while). The butterflies are starting to gather in my stomach.

I told my wife earlier today, that I'm not missing Ajax's next European final.

The pressure is all on Man u,they have to win for CL footy and all the money they will make.Even if we lose the football world now realises we are still around, still with our youth, still playing beautiful football according to the Gospel of JC.

Can see Donny come on for Schone after about an hour but the main weak spot is Veltman.

Will need to play a lot better to win this .Most seem nervous(not deLigt though) and too many passes going astray.
Riedewald having a dreadful time , poor throw in lead to their goal.

Dollberg has been invisible, he needs more movement

Is ManU even playing football tonight? They are really quite poor. They capitalized on the poor throwing from Riedewald and the unfortunate deflection of Pogba's shot by Sanchez gave Onana no chance. the only other decent effort was from Valenci but Onana had it covered. ManU are playing a very defensive 4-2-3-1 (and if memory serves, Mourinho played the same formation when Inter won the CL with Wesley Snjeider). Ajax are having a lot of possession and getting the ball across and into the middle of the attacking area but they can't break anyone free.

I expect we will see much more of the same in the second half.
