haha no only a few sponsors but they are playing a tape recorder with the loud sound of singing Legia Warsaw fans 90 minutes long.

O I have to recall my last post:

That sound is not coming from a tape recorder, but Dutch commentator Sierd de Vos says a big group of Legia fans who are standing outside the stadium at the gate with a big group to make as much noise as possible!

Well so far so good with two away goals, still need to stay focused. Another round in the Europa League sounds great.

Van Rhijn almost had a goal...an own goal. Gezz what was he thinking.

Even with some comic defending, van Rhijn what were you ever thinking, we had a nice first half. Three well taken goals and even Ajax are unlikely to concede the five goals that Legia now need.

HT and if there was any doubt of Ajax going through Milik put this one to bed with 2nd goal. Really well taken!

No, UEFA punishment for Legia was a complete empty stadium and no away fans at the first match in Amsterdam. Good thing for the 'neat' Ajax reputation with Feyenoord getting all the negative publicity for destroying Rome the Legia Warsaw hooligans and the F-side would have gotten in some big fights for sure.

Thanks for the concern, but I have been to Ukrain before the past 11 months and learned how this country works (it works a little bit) so don't worry about me!

Bad choice Thomas my mate choosing French class over an Ajax Europacup match you will never become a native speaker and you and the girlfriend will leave France within 2 of 3 years for sure.

Best performance of 2014/2015 I don't know, but for sure you've missed a really good start and two very nice Milik goals!

Heh, you know what I would have preferred to be doing! Funnily enough I think my understanding of Dutch is improving faster than it is for French, just from watching football...

Learning Dutch would also be better for you than learning French.

The Dutch also have more humour than people in France and Germany have.

Given the one sided score Cillessen is having to work hard,having tried to give them a goal with his poor kick and nearly taking the ball over the line that was a good save

well a very comfortable win with Milik's 2 goals killing the game at HT .In the 2nd half it looked more like a training match for us,except Cillessen saw alot of the ball.

Great that we are through to the next round.

This kind of games are always tricky for 2 reasons.

1) When you are 3 goals up in the first half, you lose focus and your second half performance is usualy "let's get this over with"

2) If you don't intimidate the opponent (we don't) then even after 0-3 they still have a crazy belief of turning it around.

The European adventure will continue for another two matches following a convincing 4-0 aggregate victory. Should be an interesting round coming up as PSV collapse in Russia, Spurs are out now to Fiorentina and Liverpool head to extra time in Turkey tied 1-1 with Besiktas. Good performance from all and Cillessen keeps another clean sheet though he had much less to do tonight than last week.

Player Ratings:

Cillessen (7) - a couple of tough saves to make but not troubled as much as last week
Boilesen (7) - much better tonight
Viergever (7) - solid defending
Veltman (7.5) - don't think he had a bad touch all match long and I hope he stays healthy from here on out
van Rhijn (6.5) - half point off for the 1st half blunder but otherwise quite good
Serero (7) - solid on the ball all evening
Klaassen (7) - decent match for only playing a half
Bazoer (7) - another good match in the books
Kishna (7) - directly involved on two of the three goals tonight
Milik (8) - two well taken goals but really strong play all over the field both offensively and defensively
el Ghazi (6.5) - did OK but could have been better
Sinkgraven (7) - on for Klaassen and put in a good shift
Andersen (6) - not terribly involved at all on the wing for Kishna
van der Hoorn (5.5) - on late for Veltman and had little to do

Will be an interesting draw coming up and I do not want to see a trip to Russia in the future.

Well done Ajax! For a 4-0 aggregate and two sublime goals from Milik.

I hope Ajax will draw teams like Besiktas or Everton, maybe even Roma. Just not Napoli, Fiorentina or Villareal.

Everton or Club Brugge can be ok, but... Club Brugge can cause the Ajax reputation a lot of damage as the fans don't get along and will get into riots for sure.

My personal favorite is Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
