That's the biggest cheer/celebration I have seen from Ajax fans for a F'word goal....

That was pretty funny -- there was a bigger cheer for the Fers goal than there was for the Ajax one.

This pitty pat football is a good way to lose the momentum and lose the game -- they never learn.

I really like what Anita does defensively. Does a great job covering up positions in defence.

El H doesn't like it either. Last 4 times, they did pitty patty and gave the ball to El H, he promptly gave it to an Excelsior player.

We played well for only about 15 minutes and then became too careless with the ball. We are fortunate that Excelsior are not very inventive on offense as they could have easily scored. I almost had a heart attack when van der Wiel delivered a cross with his left foot. El Hamdaoui continues to disappoint by not making the pass sooner (if he passes at all). de Jong was more active than I have seen him in recent weeks. Eriksen had a couple of good moments. Sulejmani has been too careless with his passes. Boilesen looked good going forward but picked up a needless yellow card. Anita has done well cleaning up in the midfield and our two central defenders are solid.

I hope this team is not scoreboard watching as that's the worse thing they can do at this point. This match is not locked down by any means and they need to get the 2nd goal. Ignore what his happening down the road in Rotterdam!

We need to play faster and more incisively -- cut out that pitty pat nonsense around the perimeter -- it just loses our momentum -- gives them time to rest and regroup.

We're loosing every man-to-man battle at the moment. Not a good sign.

...and there it is. No surprises there. We've been very out of synch in the first part of the second half.

That was predictable as the summer sun. This team needs to wake up right now. Terrible performance since we scored. This match is not going to be handed to us as much as the players may think.
