From the only replay that they have on the Suarez goal it's clear that there was no offside on it. Very puzzling. We cannot afford to continue to give up corners and free kicks in our end given our back line. Crap on offense as well; really miss de Zeeuw in the middle.

im an angry fan atm, we need to score against this bottom club and we need to stop defending like a bunch of gurning wankers. seriously this is such a huge opportunity we cannot let this get away from us

Well my one wish this summer is to buy a big defender who can head . This defence is piss poor and glad they were not playing vPSV last week . I am not confident they will stop RKC scoring again . As for the goal another soft one let in . I would not mind if these odd goals we let in were because of good play by the other side but this was another amateur defending . A half hearted jump by Pantelic and Steks just standing still watching .

Game turned on the OG and then the SO. In the end an easy win but they still had chances.Thankfully Jan and Toby will be back.

Still we are now in 2nd and I am confident we will keep head of PSV but lets now catch Twente and win that title.

Why not we have won 10 and drawn 2 of our last 12 and even those draws ,NAC and Fword ,were only due to 2 poor defensive errors.In fact all 4 goals let in during those 12 games were down to woeful defending. Given the fact we are scoring at will and conceeding very few why not win all 6

I knew Marko Pantelic would be good for a goal. Wrong net, but who's perfect ? Always easier to laugh after a 1:5 away result. OG or not , Ajax , would you be so kind as to please re-sign Marko the Magnificent ?? Would hate to see him pop up in a PSV or FCT shirt .

Eighty-five goals for and 19 against , a gd of + 66 (!!), is absolutely incredible. I remember Ajax was a + 77 (104 - 27 IIRC) in 94 - 95 over the full 34 matches, but their goals scored/goal difference this year is stratospheric .

Siem de Jong has definitely got to be Jong , no pun intended, player of the year. What a break out season. After seeing him go down injured on 360 last week, I was unsure when he'd play again.

I can't think of any superlatives for THE CAPTAIN that haven't been used . Two goals give him twenty-nine or something similarly outrageous ?

It was even better in 97/98. I think it was something like +90 (112 - 22)...

Just finished watching P$V-FCT on espn 360. I didn't dare check this site until it was over. Couldn't be happier to be in 2nd place with six games left. What once seemed impossible is now very possible. Just have to win them all :)
