Selfish Suarez louses up the chance for a certain third goal. He's really starting to get on my nerves with that -- twice last game and now again.

We caught a break there. Clearly a hand ball on Alderweireld.

Could have been called but many times isn't because the ball was kicked on to him rather than him actually playing the ball with his hand.

About my earlier remark re Suarez -- I mean that it was the third time in the last two games when all he had to do was slide the ball across to the player alongside of him for an easy tap in and instead he wanted the make the goal himself and loused it up. And this time it really turned the momentum of the whole game around.

Suarez has been doing that since he joined Ajax. Doesn't look for team mates nearly enough in the final third.

Pantelic, on the other hand, is close to being TOO unselfish -- sometimes I just want him to hammer the bloody thing...

just watching the highlights would agree had Suarez passed for what was a simple tap in the game would be over.

Nah, he has more assists than any other Ajax player, I think.

This was just a shit decision in front of goal. In fact, it wasn't even that: he beat the defender, he beat the goalkeeper, he created himself a 100% sitter... but then he missed. It was a shit finish more than anything else.

The announcer on ESPN 360 just said that Van der Wiel is going to Athletico Madrid in January and that it's a done deal. Anyone know anything about this???
