A bit sloppy towards the end of the half, but not a bad efefort. It would be nice if we'd put one of those chances away, though.

We are the better side so far, but that doesn't give us any advantage. We have to score, then everything will be ok. Btw, Zagreb is winning against Timisoara at HT.

A frustrating night, should have had the 3 points wrapped up before the sending off. If anything that seemed to galvanise Anderlecht for the rest of the game. Quite how their forward was allowed enough time to chest the ball and shoot in the run up to the goal is a mystery.

Thought Urby had a good game and Pantelic looked useful linking up the play. Ah well roll on the weekend.

The better team for only 70 minutes...christ we were lucky to get the draw at the end, its just amazing the mental shut down our team suffered. This draw feels like a defeat...fuck !!

Indeed. A few bad calls by the ref, a bit of miscommunication between our central defenders and a failure to put away our chances. That's what you get. Truth be told, we had about three or four lapses in concentration, and against a better team that really would have cost us.

I'm not too worried (yet). Two games played now, twice the better side. Hopefully there are some lessons learned here and we'll beat Zagreb in our next match.

We should have won this one. We were a bit unfortunate, I must say. Ball should have gone on the spot in the 4th minute (how the f**k could he not give a penno for that?), Suárez should have scored at least twice in the first fifteen minutes and we played them off the park during the large part of the first half hour. Rommedahl scored after another 10-15 minutes of Ajax pressure (and chances). Their goal was scored after a bit of an unfortunate 'carambole'. That can happen.

We were the better side - and anyone who claims we're in serious trouble now must be very bad at maths. On TV, Aad de Mos said that Ajax "have to beat Zagreb twice" now. That's bollocks. Come on. The situation (in points) is now 4-3-2-1. Which means we can be #1 in the group after the next game.

I enjoyed this one, actually. Good performance.
