AZ already down 3–0 at Utrecht so it looks like Feyenoord will stay in 3rd spot, 8 points behind us.

Good news for us AZ lost 6-2 to Utrecht so we are now 8 points clear of Fword and 9 ahead of AZ. 4 more wins by us will do.

FC Twente received a 2nd 3 point deduction for financial irregularities. Club chairman Musterman has been replaced and a bunch of sanctions imposed as the club is close to bankruptcy. From a league championship in 2010 to financial ruin in five years, truly appalling.

Feyenoord drew 2–2 at Willem II. This means their highest possible points total is 70 and we only need 4 more to finish second, assuming they won't make up the GD (we are better by 14 goals).

4 games left to leave a positive impression. As others have said maybe it's time for FdB to bench the rest of the guys who won't be seeing much action next season, like he did with Moisander, and give the kids a run.

Lastly, if we make it through the quals I guess we will be in pot 3 or 4 for the CL. We're due for an easy draw but given the way we play against eredivisie relegation candidates it's hard to imagine us coming through a group where at least 2 of the other teams will have better and more experienced squads. Only positive is that we probably won't lose anyone irreplaceable this summer.

With Go Ahead Eagles already beaten they are down with Dordrecht.Their place is between de Graafschap and
Volendam and the little fishing village north of Amsterdam are favourites having drawn 0-0 in Doetinchem last night. Should be a big day in Volendam on Sunday.

In the other game NAC won 1-0 v Roda in Kerkrade so a draw in the return in Breda will be enough.

Nice to see small clubs coming up but Roda ought to be in the eredivise and not either of the smaller clubs above.
The other team who should be in the top flight is Sparta and not Excelsior,but those 2 come from that grotty city we don't mention.

There is a play off for the Europa Cup and Heerenveen drew 2-2 at home to Vitesse so Vitesse should be in Europe.To get to the play off final Heerenveen beat Fword.

AZ,Vitesse,Groningen as cup winners and Go Ahead Eagles due to winning the fair play league will be Holland's 4 in the Europa Cup with Ajax likely to be 5th!

de Graafschap are back in the eredivisie. After a 0-0 draw at home they won 1-0 in Volendam today with a goal by ex Jong Ajax striker Vincent Vermeij .

Roda are back in the eredivisie after a 2-1 win v NAC .NAC won the first leg 1-0 so it was 2-2 overall and Roda on away goals.

NAC were 1-0 down going into Et and their equaliser didn't look as if it had crossed the line but Roda scored a 2nd .(The goal was shown on one of the sites I wasn't watching the game live. )

For the 2nd year in a row 3 teams were relegated , NEC and Roda coming back up but the 3rd team last season RKC were bottom of the Jupiler league. NAC have financial problems so wish them well in coming back up.

just saw the replay of the last 10 minutes. It was a goal by the keeper Hansen who came forward in the last minute of extra time and had a great flick on from a free kick. One of the more amazing plays I've seen recently. ADO are always tough at home.

Fun game to watch. I wish we played with the ball speed of Heerenveen, there's no telling how much better we would be. Truthfully, PSV should have had one PK as de Jong was pulled down in the box twice.

PEC Zwolle – FC Twente was quite an exciting match too.

I have a question, maybe one of the Dutch members will know the answer. Are the attendances at eredivisie matches declining? I don't know if it's my imagination but I keep seeing lots of empty seats this season (at our games as well).

Last ditch defending, totally out played, but PSV get a home win over ManU in CL football. Good for Dutch football.
