Vitesse should get through and VVV retain their Eredivise place . The other 2 finished only a point apart in the league but I have a soft spot for Willem and hope they get back into the Eredivisie

Bizarre situation...

As SPL posted, the decisive play-off round for promotion/relegation are Helmond Sport vs VVV-Venlo and FC Den Bosch vs Willem II.

Two Helmond players have signed contracts at VVV for next season. Two Den Bosch players will join Willem next season.

The Den Bosch couple told the manager that they don't want to play Willem II. They refuse. Den Bosch coach, Fons Groenendijk (an ex-Ajax man), sent them home.

The Helmond duo won't play against VVV. It's not that they refused, but "players and club decided that it's better this way".

That's pretty bizarre. The Helmond situation: fair enough. But refusing to play...?

Vitesse beat RKC and qualify for Europa Cup. VVV stay in eredivise at the expense of Helmond and finally Willem beat Den Bosch and are promoted.Well done to all 3 clubs especially little Willem

f-word lost first game of CL qualification

I saw the last 20 or so minutes of the match and they were quite poor. Go ahead goal was scored when Feyenoord had 3 back defending against 2 and couldn't mark them properly. Other goal was an on goal with confusion by both Immers and Mulder. Kiev were physically much stronger and have also played three league matches.

but loss of coefficient points so we can pretty much forget about the Dutch league moving up in the UEFA table.

Well, I do hope fayenord will really focus on the Europa League, and at least reach the 1/4 finals (plenty of games to play, no money to make). That would help them to get better.
All is not lost for Feyenoord, however, as the Eredivisie club transfer to the UEFA Europa League play-offs, where they join compatriots PSV Eindhoven and AZ Alkmaar.

Wesley's brother just got his first goal for RKC to put them up 2-1 over PSV.

I can't find it anywhere on the unternet to link to but just watched Utrecht's 2nd goal against VVV from the weekend. An absolute masterclass in defending

PSV scored 9 today vs. Beta ; thus ensuring a crowded fixture list .F-word went out in Prague . Heerenveen lost to Molde , which , I think , means they are out . AZ losing at home to Anzhi so far, which would see them out. Twente was level last I saw .

To update last , Heerenveen out 1:4 on aggregate . AZ down 0:4 now. Sure to go out. Twente 3:1 at home so far, level 3:3 with Bursaspor .
