Not a bad first half in terms of keeping possession and taking the ball away to create chances. Unfortunately, not really strong shots. I couldn't tell on the feed for sure but the ball looked like it had crossed over the touch line when the Porto player crossed it. Perhaps the linesman wasn't in position (maybe he took lessons from the WC) to see it and the goal might not have counted.

Seems to be. There's people on Ajax netwerk saying that his guy is 18 year old defender and is 1.9 meters tall. The Bruno Andrade from Helmond sport is a 1.75 meter tall forward.

I am basing this completely on Ajax netwerk discussions, so can't be certain.

Great through ball from Bonevacia to release Blind on the right. Blind has tons of space and time to get into the box and cross to Suk who has the simplest of tap ins.

Bonevacia looked good - a little like Enoh but with more vision and passing ability. Definitely one for the future.

Got stuck in a meeting but it sounds like we did alright today. Chelsea had several first team players on the pitch. Maybe we can put all this crap about a new manager and who is leaving behind us and move on forward.

They only had Essien and Obi Mikel really. Cech/Alex are injured. Cole, Terry, Drogba, Lampard et al were missing too. More like Chelsea B.
