Totally agree. Last year we took care of business down the stretch; let's hope we can do it this year. I'm optimistic - a rare feeling when it comes to Ajax.

wonderful results just like on Wednesday night .Psv winning and Twente dropping points now means nobody chasing us can get more than 70 points and on current form none of them will win all their last 4 games so we are likely looking at having to beat 68 points and we have superior goal difference . 3 wins will do but lest just concentrate on winning today.

It wont happen, Feyenoords last game is at heerenveen, both sides have a weak defense and a potent attack, expect a score draw, therefore PSV will pip feyenoord to second place by 2 points provided they win the remainder of the fixtures, which shouldnt be too hard, except for the away game at Roda JC.

My understanding is that this one may go to arbitration given the questions about an automatic extension clause. It's not the sun or the chicks, but a very low tax rate (at least that's what I've been told); it certainly is not the economy in Portugal!

Nice to read that you hate psv kezman44, the Labyad transfer will bring a dispute and controversy between the player and the Ei'hoven board. It seems Labyad will go to court for this.

No, different situation kezman. The player was given a contract longer than 3 years when he was under 18, that's not allowed according FIFA rules.

It's the money. The portuguese know how to set their priorities. Why build schools and hospitals if you can build shopping malls and football stadiums?

I don't get paid like a football player so my portuguese chick had to come to Amsterdam instead.

ROFL! There was a radio program on over here last week discussing the economic situation in Portugal and noting that they have the lowest rate of graduation from high school (don't know what the European equivalent of this is) and even those who have gone on to college and professional school cannot find employment. They interviewed two women who had nursing degrees who are now selling shoes because there is no way they can earn money being a nurse. Glad the priorities are all set in this country and that the EU will bail them out at some point.

As they are all making hard work of winning I would not have a clue who will finish 2nd,yes I am confident we will win it . I really do not want to see lightbulbers finish in the top 2.

They have been moaning this week that we have taken one of their talents and we are big nasty Ajax. The kid in question is only 13 lives in Nijmegen and from what I read PSV wanted him to move school to Eindhoven and he did not want to. As they steal talent from other teams they really are a bunch of moaners.

Anyway I would like to see AZ finish in the top 2 but if there is a winner in their game v Fword next week that team must be favourites.

I hope that AZ and F-word draw. Also hope AZ will finish 2nd. The least of the evils in the chasing pack.
