Yes I do read the Dutch comments that of the 4 who left he was the outstanding one. Also he has said he would have signed a contract had we offered one. Malen and Dilrosun would have taken the money whatever and Peeters would not have said no to Real. So the best talent we let go debuts for Man U a few weeks after his 18th.

I don't understand how they are making such a big deal of him. His performance since his big injury has been mostly mediocre -- with a few bright spots to be sure -- and I can't see him being the kind of impact player the article is making him out to be.

Truth be told, it was a very weak shot just like most of his for Ajax. Joe Hart really should have saved it. England have a history of goalkeepers having rubbish games (Rob Green against the US was a real howler).
