04/05/07 03:00 h.Martin van Geel, director técnico del Ajax, ha confirmado que Henk ten Cate, uno de los asistentes de Frank Rijkaard entre 2003 y junio de 2006 y entrenador del tetracampeón europeo desde el pasado mes de julio, volverá a mirar al Barça en busca de refuerzos para su plantilla: al llegar en verano, Ten Cate se llevó a Gabri y ahora el elegido podría ser Thiago Motta, a quien el Barça está buscando equipo y por quien su representante, Jorge Mendes, se está moviendo en Italia.

A Motta le queda todavía un año de contrato, pero el Barça no cuenta con él. Si se llegara a un acuerdo entre clubs, éste podría ser en forma de cesión o trueque, toda vez que en el Ajax militan jugadores que han cautivado el interés blaugrana en los últimos tiempos. El mediapunta Wesley Sneijder es uno de ellos y también se manejan excelentes informes de Ryan Babel (delantero polivalente, resuelve en punta y en banda), Urby Emanuelson (lateral izquierdo), John Heitinga (defensa polivalente, que cuaja como central, lateral e incluso pivote) o Klaas Jan Huntelaar ('9'). Todos ellos ya son internacionales con la selección holandesa a las órdenes de Marco van Basten.

Sneijder y Huntelaar

Si se acordara un intercambio, la opciones serían varias. Sneijder figura en la agenda azulgrana, pero tiene otras novias: Chelsea, Valencia, Tottenham, Bayern o Zaragoza. Su destino favorito sería el fútbol español. Por caché y peso específico del jugador el Ajax no se avendría a un mero intercambio de cromos, pero el Barça podría abaratar una negociación. También Klaas Jan Huntelaar, 'pichichi' del Ajax, entraría en esa categoría, pero en el caso de los otros tres jóvenes cracks quizá podría darse la variante del trueque. Llegado el caso, la fórmula casi descartada sería la del traspaso de Thiago a la prestigiosa entidad de Amsterdam.

Otro 'culé' que ha sonado es Gio van Bronckhorst; como en el PSV, donde el veterano y ex azulgrana Phillip Cocu no seguirá la próxima temporada, en Amsterdam se ve al lateral como apuesta tanto por su veteranía como por su solvencia.
