Which means that, if FC Kuban Krasnodar win, a long winter break will start for the Helmond Cup. The next Helmond Cup fixture would, in that case, be the first official Kuban Krasnodar match in the new Russian season (whenever that starts).

In that case, the Helmond cup will be relegated to the Russian first division together with Krasnodar.

The Russian second division would be very 'cult' with all the funny names and stuff, but the problem is: it's never gonna get out of there, unless the second division champions happen to have it at season's end and take it back up to the premier division. Volendam took it out of the Dutch First Division once, but remember: the champions do not necessarily possess the cup on the last matchday. So perhaps it's better if it doesn't go down.

Weird league fixture, by the way: Rubin Kazan (who are champions already) versus Krasnodar (who are already sure to go down).
