I noticed a strange thing. The internet link for SBS6 TV that was down on Wednesday for the Roda game seems to be back up and running again. I wonder if it's a licensing type thing related to the football. If you have cable/satellite TV in the UK you can get all the different regional versions of the BBC channels, BBC1 Scotland etc. but, when they are showing live football they block it so that you can't see the live Scottish football in England....might be a similar type thing..............

Looks to be the TV coverage highlights they release each weekend. Pretty up to date as well. Just subscribed and the latest game is for Vitesse-Sparta which was Friday nights game.

Now we can all watch ALL games from the Dutch League. It also has some past weeks as well :D

Well! I've subscribed to it, and it appears to be absolute CRAP!
I've downloaded all of the software necessary, but when I select a clip to watch, all I get is a search page.
I've tried to access the "Help" section, but this is CRAP as well, no use at all.
Until everything's been ironed out, I'll stick to downloading the highlights from Ultrasuid.
Is this the shape of things to come at the Arena?
K, the site might be written in English, but it seems that the quality of it is English as well! (NOT VERY GOOD - IN FACT USELESS!!!)

I think you'll be fairly safe using your card with Ajax or whoever their official partner is. The site will be secure so can't be hacked etc.

It's true that you do have to be careful but I'm 100% sure that the official Ajax site will be safe to use.

To quote Monty Python, the quality of my computer "don't enter into it!" I've got a brand new superfast P4. It still doesn't work!

As for Dubbel asking who BB is!" Why's it taken you two months to find out? I suggest you contact Over Pasanens Head for an answer to that. The prophet has declared this a future "fact".

Come on people! Let's be sensible. AjaxTV hasn;t worked for me so I'm going to continue to get the highlights from Ultrsuid. It's no loss to me! The rest of the time I'll be there. (Will you Dubbel?)

Let's give it a rest and hope that the channel will be put right for EVERYONE!

In Blind3's defense, he's not the type to say sarcastic things to other fans (only to the team or the coach). He loves Ajax (I mean really loves Ajax)and considers all Ajax fans his brothers. At least that's the impression I got from him when we hung out at the reunion a few years ago. So I don't think his comments should be read as sarcasm or the behavior of a seven year old.

Just my 2 cents.

There's some interesting short video's on the Voetbal International homepage. Looks to be a new feature as I've not spotted it before but you need to click on one of the news stories with a small video camera logo beside it. That open up the media player and gives you a list of options including a short interview (in Dutch) with Tomas Galasek about the World Cup.

Looks a good little set of films anyway though I've only watched Tomas so far - site is here http://www.vi.nl/home.html :xyxthumbs:

It's a sort of video database that you can search with keywords.

For example this one on Johan "El Flaco" Cruyff :

The footage is taken from an NOS documentry. I have a copy with English narration(SE6 also has a copy .... I sent him one :D). The only downside to it being in English is in the pronouncing of the Great JC's name as Crowff. :xyxthumbs:

Yeah, that's a good Film. I'd never seen it before either until you sent it. One of two Ajax related DVD's that I have in English (the other is 'Football Voetbal Fussbal' from BBC TV in 1996) :xyxthumbs: I'll run you a copy if you want Bertrand.

The Ajax game is usually shown on Sopcast via the test channels .....stream is sometimes not so good , but tonight the uploader provided an excellent stream of NAC V's NEC. If I find confirmation that the game is on Goal tv2 via Tvants I will let you know. :xyxthumbs:

Dubbel, here are couple of links that should prove useful if goal tv2 do not schedule the Ajax game :

http://www.voetbalinbeeld.nl/zondag.htm here in the eredivisie section you will find the necessary info to get the Ajax game. Note: you have the option to use the test channel link or reconfigure the sopcast software .... It may be best if you use the test channel link. You will be presented with a table of test channel links. Click on the one for the Ajax game .... should be obvious which link to choose ... uploaders are Dutch ... using the Tele2 broadcast. :xyxthumbs:

PS: due to legal threats my usual source is not presently providing football streaming schedules. :sad:

I've already gotten Sopcast a wile back so we'll see how it goes tomorrow morning.
So it is due to legalities that the programs are hard to find in advance?
