BTW I like the possible addings of janssen, boerrigter, serero and van der heijden, plus 2 central forwards: one is castillion, the other is one between sigthorsson and dost. then the team is done.

Agree at 99%. Just think Cvitanich should play more. The guy ui good and must stay. Very specific attacker, nervius, quick, i like his style. Player with future in Ajax, i think. We should keep him.

I know what you mean. Dario isn't that bad at all. Simply I don't see him willing another season on the bench, as he is still highly rated in his country, even by the biggest clubs like boca and river. Should he stay, I will be happy.

I`m another who rates Dario, he`s a good impact player imo. We should keep him, he has pace and decent movement and when on form a great finisher. The season under MvB proves that.

He could have been used a bit more since he returned in January but I think he will go.

I think we need to lose some midfielders. Anita Eriksen and Janssen will be the 3 main choices but that leaves us with Enoh,de Zeeuw, Lodeiro,Aissati, V d Heijden and even de Jong as senior players
with Sneijder, Rits and Serero as youngsters and they should not be playing at Jong level.

Aissati will leave but 2 out of Enoh De Zeeuw Lodeiro and V d Heijden need to go. Sneijder should join another young talent Bonevacia out on loan to get regular games and maybe Serero ,if he comes, could benefit from a season at a lower club as he needs to get used to Europe .But Rits has played regularly for GBA in Belgium this season so could be added to the first team rota.

NB Serero an attacking midfielder has now signed a 4 year contract .

Dude, Jan-Arie Van der Heijden should be given a chance... he is promising, I support him, since we are getting rid of lindgren, it makes sense to keep him and add another left sided midfielder (like Stijn Schaars).

I too liked Jan Arie and hope he gets a chance I was just sounding out what some of you think as we appear to have too many midfielders.

I agree SPL, players like Lodeiro have to go, to be honest I dont care if we lose either de Zeeuw or Enoh (I prefer we sell Enoh). As far as Vertonghen goes, I wish Inter would come in for cash plus player offer... yes Im talking about Cristian Chivu, if Ajax are to return to the dizzy heights of the european Oddessy then they need 2 or 3 experienced players in the squad.

Apparently Man City are ready to announce details for vertonghen as early as tomorrow! although i cant see it to be honest!

De Zeeuw to Spartak Moskva??? De Telegraaf says the move is very possible. For 6 mln. I don't know what to think

I like de Zeeuw, i would have much rather kept him than buying Janssen if this is the case, just feel like he has more to offer us than Theo. But what do i know?!

I just saw the de Zeeuw story as well. We do need to off load a midfielder or two and de Zeeuw is the logical choice with the club now wedded to Janssen. Any transfer fee would be great as well as losing his salary (he probably makes €1 M or more per season).

Lindgren is in talk with IFK Gôteborg.. he will probably be gone in the end of the week..

financially, the farewell of de zeeuw for 6 mlns is not a bad move. you can use enoh (or anita)-eriksen-janssen at midfield, with anita (or enoh), de jong, rits,van der heijden, and the n.10 lodeiro and serero as backups.
tecnically, I would keep him for a very solid midfield. he seems a good guy for the spirit of the dressing room also.

All this discussion makes me think, that we dont have 2-3 irreplaceable midfielders. Most of them are more or less equal. So thats why I dont have a clear opinion if I want de zeeuw out. Lets say that eriksen should stay, after him anita enoh de zeuuw and co, dont have a solid position in the team. IMO

How many players that most want gone have their contracts coming to an end with the end of this season we just finished?

At best he would be a sub for either team and abit part utility player. Another nonsense story . earlier in the week Spurs were looking to bring el Hamdaoui back.

Of more interest B Munich have bought a Brazilian right back so that leaves just Chelsea of the big rich clubs who may want V dWiel.

Man U not going for Steks so not sure who would be interested in him now of the really big rich clubs.

PS I am never sure how to describe clubs like Chelsea Arsenal and Man City they are rich and from a bigger league but given only Real Madrid, Milan and Liverpool have won the CL/European Cup mores times than us they are just clubs from a rich league imo.

Man City and Chelsea will spend big and I quess win it one day.Arsenal aka Wenger's bottlers will never spend big and will never win it.

I think we will stay on 4 wins for many years until they do something about the debts these big clubs run up . Man U Man City Chelsea RMadrid and Barca all in debts by 100's of millions and no one will ever do anything about it .

Back to players leaving Vertonghen of the main 3 still seems to be the one I think will leave this summer. I have a feeling Steks and Greg may still be here come 1st September.

Lindgren's salary of about 1m euros is putting off Danish and Swedish clubs who cannot match it . This sums up the stupid way this club has been run the last 4or 5years with average players on 1m plus. We may have a problem in getting rid of Bruno Silva who must be on a similar salary .

I think we should just bite it and release them, I know it'll cost us but in the long run it will be better.

Too soon to pay them off but we must hope we can get rid of both without having to pay them any more money. Imo they are the only 2 players left who wont get in the first team squad and we really do not want another season of having seniors players spare.


I should add that 4 other players who are all deemed to be surplus to the first team are El Ham, Cvitanich, de Zeeuw and Aissati but they should all get sold easily with us getting transfer fees.

de Zeeuw has evidently said no to Sparta Moscow the salary was not good enough .
