Solid fiscal administration (not overpaying for players), a good tactical manager, and a club that knows how to close out matches without making costly defensive mistakes. Pretty simple if you ask me.

will be interesting to see how psv will do without afellay when he leaves in the winter break. he's their best player now, so hopefully it affects them. too bad we didn't get lens. he would have created some action in our lame midfield

So 60 minutes to play, AZ with 11 and Twente down to 10.

PSV drop to 10 man NAC 4-2! Robbie Schilder had a good game and I still don't know why we gave up on him. He is certainly a good choice in the midfield and can also do duty at fullback. Let's hope we can handle VVV this Sunday.

Maybe we will get lucky today. Engelaar was sent off for a second yellow in the PSV/Graafschap match so the Light Bulbs are playing 10 against 11. 0-0 at the half and at a minimum, I hope we get the draw.

twente were trashed by heerenveen... highly unusual

Well i think Heerenveen did us a massive favour today, beating Twente 6-2, I almost choked on my cup of tea when I saw that result.

3 points off the top now.

Twente have a very short bench and injuries and the CL schedule are catching up to them. Too bad in a way as they play entertaining football but I suspect that the ongoing European campaign won't be helpful for them.

Tough game for PSV this weekend: against Roda (they've been great in recent weeks).

FC Twente were supposed to play the Derby of Twente yesterday evening, at home against Heracles, but the game was called off due to the weather conditions.

f-word lost at home 0-1 to de graafschap today, who overtook them now in the table. f-word are absolutely terrible. i thought the loss to psv would be rock bottom, but man, they really suck ass. just waiting for the moment, hopefully very soon, when the fans are going to destroy that place. totally loving it
