Would agree with the above posts .Most clubs are living way above their means and paying silly money out in wages . Somehow it has to blow up and big soccer goes into meltdown.
UEFA have bought in financial measures for the future but Real Madrid and Man U will never be kicked out of the CL due to their obcene debts.

I see Fword have lost another talant to Chelsea for nothing as he has no contract . Kyle Ebecilio just 16 . 2or 3years ago they lost Jeffrey Bruma to Chelsea at just 16 and with no contract and he is now highly rated.
I know we like to laugh at Fwords misfortune but it is not good for Dutch football if 16 year olds are pushing off to England. Ajax have been putting their best 16 or 17 year olds under contract these last 2 years so at least we would get a transfer fee.

It's going to be difficult to end the child trafficking. Even if UEFA were to take a stand, I'm sure that there will be ways for these clubs to avoid it (they could find someone to offer the parents a job in London for example). It makes me dislike Chelsea even more!!!! Maybe Blackpool is the only honest EPL club.

Regards the above story and the Fword kid . I now read that it is not Chelsea that have stolen him but the worlds no 1team for stealing little kids from abroad , yes Wenger and Arsenal . If he does go there I hope he does better than another Dutch kid they stole, Nacer Barazite. He is now 20 ,been there 4 years and no nearer to their first team than the day he joined . Their other Dutch lad Ozyakup has spent 2 seasons in their youth team and again could just be lost in alot of other young kids.
The only 2 kids in England who could well make it are the Chelsea 2 Bruma and ex PSV Van Aanholt .
Hopefully no other 16 leaves Holland this summer

No less than seven Dutch clubs will start the 2010-2011 campaign with a negative amount of points. This is a KNVB penalty for their poor financial situation.
NAC Breda is the only Eredivisie club: they will start the season on -1 points.
The other clubs (all First Division) are:
MVV: -7
AGOVV Apeldoorn: -6
Almere City (formerly FC Omniworld): -3
BV Veendam: -3
Fortuna Sittard: -2
FC Dordrecht: -1

I am proud to announce the arrival of the first Venezuelan born player in the Eredivisie...Roberto Rosales. The venezuelan Van der Wiel
This is so great !!!! The eredivisie coverage here is going to sky rocket now and acording to some of my collegues Rosales was one of the Right Back options for Ajax in case Van der Wiel left. Since that did not happen Roberto elected to take the safe route a go with the Tukkers and that way play in the champions league.
Roslaes contract will be for three years but i can really see him replacing Van der Wiel when ever he leaves the team.
Im really ecstatic to say the least.

Is Affellay going to transfer? He was on the subs bench for PSV today; rather strange.

From what I understand, Afellay still isn't in competition shape and has just recently join the club after the world cup. The one who seems to be leaving is salcido, he already expressed that he wishes to leave psv as soon as possible.

With Luis Fabiano ending up at Marseille (what a shame after being chased by Europe's giants) I read somewhere that our tormentor Bryan Ruiz might be his replacement.... Very nice I say!!!!

Marseille won the French League last seasons and will play the Champions League. They also played a UEFA Cup final in 99 and won the Champions League in 93. As for the French teams themselves, Lyon played the semi-finals of the Champions League last season after defeating another French team in the previous round, Bordeaux.
Now you tell me how exactly it is a shame that Luis Fabiano would choose to play for such a team and what would be in your opinion a more acceptable destination. Clubs loaded with petrodollars like Manchester City or Chelsea? World class underachievers like Milan AC or Juventus?

What you say is corect and cant be undeervalued. But, leaving the Primera Division when you are considered the best Brazilian attacker in the last 2-3 years to join a lower league is bad imo. I think I heared rumors of Man Utd last year and a few rumors anout Real Madrid and Milan, who cant be considered smaller teams than Marseille even in Milan's current situation.

Whahahahaaaaaaa - Feyenoord just lost the Rotterdam derby at tiny little Excelsior: 3-2. The winner was scored by Fernandez, three minutes into stoppage time.
They must be going absolutely mental at Excelsior now.
This really is a great joke.

At this stage of the season PSV look good and perhaps it will come down to our two matches with them (aside from avoiding any slip ups to lesser teams). Good to see the Feyenoord result.

PSV is definitely the most threatening team. Toivonen is playing fantastically recently, even for Sweden. He is turning into a very good player, and we'll have to watch out for him.

Vitesse just got bought by a Georgian businessman named Merab Jordania. Very interesting. I read a few things about this guy and he is a pretty colorful character. He was the coach of the Georgian national team in 2003. He has also been accused of tax evasion in Georgia.
This is what he had to say today - "By the way, I want to clear up that Roman Abramovich is not involved in this deal, although he is a friend of mine."
