Yes I think the best option is to continue with the goalscorer we already have under contract.

Also for him it would be good. After a long season including being long in the Tournament after the Euros, a player needs rest and vacation. Moving to another club in another country costs a lot of energy and especially at his age, he is not quite certain of 'a basisplaats' at a richer club.

Overmars signed a new contract to 2021.Still think the jury is out on him ,its his last minute 31 August signings that are the worst Zimling ,Sanogo!

Recently Frank de Boer has been linked to a move to Inter, Valencia are in talks with a potential coach. I personally believe the talks of Frank de Boer to Inter is merely hot air. His optons are lacking pretty badly.

Patrick Kluivert ,who was due to start coaching our A1 shortly has left and become TD at PSG. Cannot blame him taking a big job with a rich club.

Incidently I posted above Overmars has signed to 2021 ,he has not yet signed and Chelsea have been rumoured to want him as TD.His contract runs to January 2017

If Bosz is eventually sacked. Who will take over? The only one I can think of is Wim Jonk, but he already burnt his bridges, and doesn't talk to Marc Overmars.

Arsenal want Overmars as Director of football. I have no problem with him going.Maybe we need a non Ajax man in this job.Still think Overmars is very slow with contracts ie Viergever and Tete have heard nothing,Onana only just talking, Eiting's contract is only to 2018 what is he doing!

He did well getting 32m for Milik and Sanchez was a good signing but lots of poor signings. Westermann staying for another year on 1m a joke. Always seems slow with youths contracts ie de Lange the goalie only just gets an offer

Jordi Cruyff would be a good pick to replace Overmars!

Aside from the fact that he is Johan's son, he has good experience in management, something Overmars did not have before taking over as technical director at Ajax.

Bayer Leverkusen are interested in signing Peter Bosz. I doubt he would want to go to them after one season. With all due respect, they are no Bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund

According to welt, Peter Bosz is close to reaching an agreement with Borussia Dortmund.

It's gonna be a long silly season this year with no intl tournament.

I don't see anything other than a couple of German tabloids with this story. Nothing from Dortmund, Bosz or Ajax yet. Hopefully just hot air?

Bad news: Peter Bosz’ transfer to Borussia Dortmund seems imminent and a matter of time. Who should succeed him at Ajax?

Peter Bosz and Borussia Dortmund have already held first talks. Ajax demand €5 million from the German side.

If Bosz leaves, will Ajax promote Marcel Keizer? I don't see any current Dutch manager as ready as he is to take over the first team. The right choice might be Wim Jonk but that bridge was burned a year and a half ago.

let him go for 5 million. he's overrated. after all, didn't get us one trophy this year. in all honestly, we were lucky with the Europa league draw and the results. could easily have crashed out against legia. then the story with him as a couch would have been way different. plenty of other coaches with potential.

I read that Ron Jans might be his replacement. Any thoughts?

A bit of a gamble, despite his impressive performance, I would go with Marcel Keiser
