Hi guys,
At the ArenA for the first time this Sunday for Ajax - FC Volendam! Just wondering if any season-ticket holders who aren't planning to go would want to sell me two tickets?
If not, is it true that the best thing is to go to a Tobacco Shop and buy them there?
Pretty damn excited about seeing Ajax for the first time... just hope they don't have too much of a UEFA Cup hangover.

Tickets will be sold at the ArenA on match day from 14:30. Otherwise you can buy them in the Tickebox network (Primera shops, so indeed tobacco shops).

i know this is a longshot, but if anyone has 2 tickets for wednesday that they can't use or some such thing, my french buddy really wants to see this match
stupid me let my club card expire, so i had to wait until all that was left was seats of at least 60E
if anyone has a pair or knows of a pair on one of the ends (upper ring is great too), please send me a message!

With a club card it wouldn't have been much cheaper. I bought 2 tickets last friday, so the first day for club card holder, and the first price was around 50 euros...

no, but i would have been able to buy faster, when seats in 427 and the like were still available for 36 :D
the worst part is ive been down there several times, and always forget to do it

btw just to be clear, we hope to find some end seats in the 40E range, so if anyone cant use, we'd love to getcha back that 80E! :D

We are 3 Ajax fans from Riga, Latvia. We are coming to Amsterdam during November 18-23, so we want to go to Ajax - Heerenveen match on Sunday, Nov 22.
I was looking through Ajax official webpage and i've already registered in Ajax online ticket-shop (Dutch version). So, i was wandering, can i book the tickets directly via Ajax website (i found 3 tickets in vak 415 for 32,50 EUR)? Or they won't give me the tickets (as i'm not living in the Netherlands)? The thing is that i don't want to risk with 100 EUR (if they don't give the tickets)... It would be great if i could book them and then pick up at the stadium before the game. Do you think, it's possible?

It definitely works abroad. At least in France and Belgium, so I guess they should also send the tickets in Latvia (they can also choose to take their tickets at the stadium if they want).

I will be visiting Amsterdam this weekend, and would like to watch the Ajax home match against Heerenveen. Can you tell me the best way buy a ticket? I have been to the Ajax ArenA a few years ago and was able to buy at ticket at the Stadium. Is this still possible?

Yes, it is! Tickets available on matchday, at the box offices near the main entrance. No Club Card required.

A Club Card is required to buy tickets for Ajax vs NEC in presale. You probably do not possess one and it's too late to apply for one (takes a couple of weeks), but there is no problem really: just go to the Supporters Desk at the ArenA, the day before the game, and they'll help you out. They'll ask you to sign a Club Card application form and take your picture with a digital camera or something, and then sell you up to three tickets on the spot.

On way back from game yesterday, the talk turned to the cost Ajax are now charging for tickets for individual matches in particular the forthcoming FC Twente and Juventus games. For me to sit in my normal seat in VAK 422 and buy matchday tickets it would cost Eur 120 altogether for these games. These are not the most expensive tickets with Twente match dearest costing Eur 89.50 ( yes that is correct) and Juventus tickets the dearest left are Eur 66.
To me Ajax have completely lost the plot when it comes to matchday prices - season tickets are still good value but at Eur 420 my season tickets has increased by over 50% in 7 years. Loyalty is all good and fair but my god this club are ripping the pish for the standard of football on offer. No wonder there are now big gaps in the stadium.

Thinking of heading over for the Groningen game at the arena on 28th March. Am I ok to assume this is a fairly low risk fixture and tickets should be available by going to the ground the day before? I dont have a club card.

Correct.
Mind you: I don't think it will be possible to buy a ticket at the ground on match day if you don't possess a Club Card.
But if you go to the ArenA the day before the game, you should be okay: you can buy a Club Card (6 euros or something) and a match ticket in one buy, and take care of the whole thing on the spot. The game will most definitely not sell out completely, so no worries about that.

Quick question: is the Sparta - Ajax fixture a combi? I have a friend who will be in Holland that week and may want to check out an Ajax match. I would guess it is a combi, but just wanted to be sure.
