Some reports say that both Ajax and PSV are interrested in Anas Sharbini from Croatia. He plays for NK Rijeka and is a real number 10 and still young. Is there anything about it in dutch media?

You can make a nice movie about Rommedahl too.

I've seen him play a lot of times, and i must say he is a very good player, playmaker, simillar to Wesley, uses both feet and is loyal - last summer he turned down a transfer to Dinamo ZG (U all know them) so he could help his club that was going through some rough times.

In the last league match he scored 3 goals and had 2 assists. Scout from FC Köln was spotted at the game. The price shoud be around 3 mil€ altough his recent form could increase that number. He would be a good signing, a very good one actually...
And he would most likely be interrested in a move to dutch league as he is impressed by the progress Pranjic made there. He and his agent are refusing to talk about transfer until season is over. Media report there should be someone from Ajax comming to watch him today.

According to Norwegian media Ajax are watching Molde and Senegal's Mame Biram Diouf. He is a 22 years old striker that have scored 5 goals in the first 7 matches this season for his club that is currently on second place in the league.

Other clubs that are interested in him according to the Norwegian news story are: PSV, Hamburg, Werder Bremen, Schalke 04 and Borussia Dortmund.

In my opinion he is not good enough to claim a spot in the starting eleven for any of these clubs in the near future though.

I agree, I think that's the kind of defender we need.

Let's not get carried away too much by American footballers. Not sure about Davies and his ultimate abilities. Onyewu is out of contract with Liege and may have a number of suitors.

How much of Davies have you seen? He's got ability coming out the wazoo - pace, touch, the ability to finish with either foot. I'd love to see him at Ajax.

but seriously, i really think charlie is better off in a two-striker set, running off of a target man type... he's not really a winger and he's not really a #9

No, he's not.

The June issue of that unimpeachable source World Soccer has a big splashy feature on the summer transfer market which says that Barca's Bojan Krkic (on a loan) and Rafael van der Vaart (!) could conceivably be headed for Ajax. Sheer speculation, of course, but fun.

I like VdV, but why would we want him back? We have enough midfielders. Let's save that money for a replacement for Suarez and a few defenders.

I am blissfully unaware, but I would be highly surprised if we hung onto him.
