Donk has moved from AZ to West Brom today, joining Zuiverloon there. Two defenders we wont have to face this season, hopefully a good sign but we still haven't fixed our defense it seems.

Mixed result for Dutch clubs today: F-word and FC Twente lost, 0-1 and 2-1 respectively. Sporting Life has the US's Carlos Bocanegra scoring the winner for Rennes against Twente. NEC won 1:0 . latest on Vitoria v. Heerenveen was listed as 0:0.

EDIT: Vitoria Setubal 1: SC Heerenveen 0 . In progress. VS scored on 67'.

Yes. Terrible results for PSV and Feyenoord

Good results for NEC (very well done!) and Ajax.

Okay result for Heerenveen. Twente still in the race (2-1 defeat away; not a disaster).

Louis' gang on fire in Tilburg; leading willem II 1:5 with 4 mins to halftime.
Fantastic solo goal from Dembele(0:4) was followed almost immediately with a superb far post volley from el hamdaoui.

A firing AZ is good for Dutch football imo. Well provided they don't win the league over us of course.

They're at it again - 4:0 at halftime v's Sparta.

edit:finished 6:0 for AZ.

What a blunder from de cler for Janssen's goal.

Fantastic finish from saidi on the second, but poor defending from Van Bronckhorst.

Even then they got a lucky point off of us due to a dodgy penalty.

That would have made them 16th with 3points, a win v Volendam.
Have they ever been relegated !!

Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV are now the only three clubs that have always been in the top division, since the start of professional football in The Netherlands. The last non-'Big Three' club that could claim the same thing was Sparta, until they went down in 2002 (with Frank Rijkaard as their head-coach, by the way!).

Seriously though, don't look now . but Louie's lads are bang in form. I know NAC , FCG, SCH,are all buzzing around the top, but AZ look the most in form.
