Didn't look at the other groups but given that the records start in 1955, I doubt any of the other groups have as many CL winner trophies as this one.

Once again its the same situation as teh Dynamo draw, Ajax wont take any team lightly, now that said i think that our prime objective is to beat out Auxerre for the third place spot and give Milan and Madrid a fucking scare. Ajax will once again be watched by millions when we face the two giants, lets just be sure we give them all the hell they can get !!!!

Liverpool are the only other team who won more trophies than us. Man U 3 , Chelsea Arsenal Spurs all nil .We are a more succesful club than all the english put together .

Just qualify the statement, we are more successful than the current English CL entries. Historically, English clubs have won 11 times: Liverpool, 5; Man U, 3; Nottingham Forrest, 2; Aston Villa, 1

Not the best draw for us, but yeah, this is the Champion's League, there aren't many weak teams anywhere. I'm most interested to see how we'll stack up against all three teams, but especially the big two. This does seem to be the group of death.

Anyone know when the set the schedule and find out who the first game is against? Going to be even harder with the suspensions.

Glad we got AC Milan, hope to be able to attend the away game, my last live Ajax game was in Milan 2003.

The dates are set but the computer draw has not been made yet. Sept 14/15 is the first match day.

SkyBet have us in at 100/1 to win it all. Might be worth a few €s to chance on this one!!!

1. AC Milan -
Not their old self.

2. Real Madrid -
Kaka had surgery on the 5th of August. He's out for 4-5 months.

LOL - that's the only positive news I have been able to find.

3. Auxerre
Played 3 drew 3 in the French league so far.

AC Milan is about to sign Zlatan from Barca...

Forget Kaka at Madrid, Ozil or Van der Vaart are 3 times better.. Hope Rafael has mercy for the club that go him this far...

We wanted Champions League opposition; we got Champions League opposition.

The only one I'm not too pleased with is Auxerre. They were quite possibly the best side in pot 4.

Milan and Real; great. Will be fun.

At first I was kind of bummed, but now I'm thrilled. Ajax is playing right where it belongs: with the giants of Europe. I say we can do it. Why? Because fuck AC Milan and Real Madrid. That's why.

Fuck, was my initial assessment. However, Im calm now so lets go and have fun against some amazing teams, and lets smack up Auxerre and get 3rd n roar into the Europa league with our hands held high and who knows if we are resolute in Amsterdam maybe we will sneak through!

hahaha yeah you know, I'm really a sour loser, I was just so ticked off when groningen tied the game, kind of lost it there, but I knew I wopuld be back, I was just waiting a little while cause that was kind of embarassing. sorry for that, I'll try to have no more temper tantrums around here anymore. Love Ajax since i was 10 years old and never even been to Europe, let alone the netherlands.

It's ok - Ajax does that to all of us on some level. We are some occasional kind of heroin addicts I think. Ajax makes us super depressed for a few weeks. But we just can't let go and end up coming back for more. Hang in there.

And some of us have our cardiologist on call for every match and take a double dose of blood pressure meds!!!!! Forgot also to add that we also say a special prayer to St. Maarten of the Keepers.

Haha all keep that in mind, I hope I don't die too young following this team. But hey, it could be worst, I could be feyenoord fan.

Do you know why they call it the group of death? Beacause EVERYONE is capable of beating EVERYONE ELSE.

I don't think AC Milan are the team they used to be. Though Madrid could be hard to break down. Auxerre will ensure we're on our toes.

If we can at least beat Milan and Auxerre at home, this group will be messed up and Europe will sit up and watch us... . I keep thinking that all we need now is Chivu. Our midfield and forward line can dance with anyone but our defence, needs an organiser!

On the flip side, this draw will bring a couple of those big headed youngsters back to earth... .

Oh and what about Man United's group? effin Cakewalk for them!!

No Luis Suarez or Jan Vertonghen for match day 1 . I'd be more broken up if it was Ajax v. either A.C. Milan or Auxerre on match day 1. Real v. Ajax is going to be a huge hill to climb no matter who is in the side .
