Another tough one coming up... (and we'll be without Dario Cvitanich).
AZ play De Graafschap at home on Saturday evening. Looks like we will have to win again in order to stay close to AZ...

Right now it feels like we're merely trying to keep up with AZ: they play Volendam (away) and De Graafschap (home), while we play NEC and Groningen away...
But if we beat Groningen and can stay close to AZ, things will turn around for a while: for a few weeks we will have the easier opponents - and then it will be interesting to see what happens.
One more 'battle' that we have to survive - after that, we can start thinking about closing in!
Come on, Ajax!

Not to throw cold water -- but we seem to do better against the tougher opposition and kind of lose the plot against the weaker teams. It's like we feel all we have to do is walk onto the field to beat them -- and many times they beat us by outworking us. Let us hope that we will bear down just as hard on them as we do on the better teams.Kowalczyk schreef:Right now it feels like we're merely trying to keep up with AZ: they play Volendam (away) and De Graafschap (home), while we play NEC and Groningen away...

Enoh on '9'? Isn't Enoh a half, and a defensive one at that? And injured too? Why do so many seem to need to play this match with a fantasy line-up...Blind3 schreef:Micky at number 10 and Enoh at number 9. He's played there at Jong Ajax. Or, if Aissati is read, Micky to # 9 and Aissati at # 10.
I would put Su and Su up front, include one or two guys who can send a decent pass on the midfield added with some defensive midfielders plus the regular defensive lot at back. Let Groningen burn up its energy in the first hour and finish them off in the latter part of the match. 0-2 sounds like a result that will make everybody happy. That score is low enough so Groningen can leave with their heads up high while good enough for us to keep up with AZ.

0-2 won't make Groningen happy, that's for sure. They gonna go for all 3 points today and a loss, no matter 0-1 or 0-5 will be disapoitment for them.Dubbel schreef: 0-2 sounds like a result that will make everybody happy. As for our starting selection, i would go with Suarez as No.9, Urby on left wing, Leo on right wing, Sulejmani in center as No.10, Gabri on right, De Jong on left.
Having seen a headline about illegal streams earlier in the week no one from Holland came back on it. I ckecked myp2p last night and noticed no dutch games but justin tv was still showing PSV and Az games.
It does look as if myp2p2 have been stopped from showing advertising our games!!
Sopcast may still be showing it and justintv and ustreamtv have shown games .

Update: people on the MyP2P forum are posting links...
It seems you can pay (from abroad too) to watch the stream from Eredivisie Live :

I don't know if this possibility is new, but 6€ is a bit expensive I think. I may try it though.

Looks interesting - please let us know how you get on. Today is live on Setanta but if the quality is any good I'd certainly be willing to give this a go, evan at 6 Euro's a go.Cedric_AeF schreef:It seems you can pay (from abroad too) to watch the stream from Eredivisie Live :

P.S. 6 Euro's is even more expensive here - make that about £5.99 and still counting

Forza Haarlem. HFC Gone but not forgotten!
Well, when I posted my message I just had to give my credit card number to receive the code needed to watch the video. I didn't do it at the time and now I can't access anymore to the form to pay. I get the usual message: "This video is only viewable from within the Netherlands."SE6Ajacied schreef: Looks interesting - please let us know how you get on.
Too bad for them, I'm watching a free stream now in good quality: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/rusplus
