Very pleased with the clean sheets and the (more or less) hard-fought wins over Groningen, NEC and Twente.

But... now it's time for some dominant 'old skool' Ajax football, and a few goals.

YES! I am officially in love with ESPN360. Saturday's game was on, tomorrow's UEFA game is on, and Saturday's game v Sparta is on... I'm getting caught up fast on my Ajax footy!

I haven't seen an Ajax game like this in ages, we're not even playing that well but Sparta don't seem to have turned up at all. Did they get out of their half in the first 25 minutes?

Just as I thought - 67% Ajax possession at HT. I don't think I've seen Sparta put together more than 3 passes in a row.

Let's hope Huntelaar's injury isn't really bad. Looked like a sprain.

Definetly won't play against Volendam on Wednesday, and doubtful for psv game..

P.S. We already won this game, so i think we should replace Suarez, that he wouldn't get another yellow card.

At least it wasn't an achilles tendon rupture -- which was my first thought when I saw the way he hobbled off the field.

Seems like the switch of Sno to # 9 was a very smart idea in hindsight. He's taken a fair amount of stick, some deserved, and kept plugging away. Congrats Evander !!
