What a douchebag (the commentator, I mean). I actually love to watch live hockey (not so much on TV), in part because I'm in awe of anyone who can actually stand up on skates AND manipulate stick, puck, etc., but to me the fighting is like some weird atavistic holdover from caveman times. And there are still people like Don Cherry who think it's a sign of manliness, and fantasy leagues that actually count penalty minutes as a positive stat--like putting your team a man down is a good thing.
