Players Leaving Ajax

Ajax confirmed Rensch leaving . 6m with easy reached add ons is a good amount for some one with just 5 months contract left. He would not have raised more than that last summer after a poor season.

Apparently there's some serious interest from Sunderland for Akpom. I like the guy even though he's the most un-Ajax striker we've had for a while. The guy gives it his all and then manages to score goals. Ends up playing RW/LW and still doesn't complain.

Brobbey flew to London , think he will join West Ham Monday. 30m plus 5m add ons but it may be a mandatory loan with Hammers completing the signing on 1st July due to FFP rules.

1 goal in the league and he seems to spend most of every game with his back to goal and being pulled to the ground. No I dont rate him !

Mannswerk is off to Cardiff City on loan.

Regarding Brobbey - I suspect Weghorst and Akpom will split duties at striker. This should get us through the season OK. Akpom is better suited to #9 than on the wing. We'll see how this works. Kroes appears to be doing all that he can to fix things from Mislintat's horrible purchases.

Mannsverk is no 6 Mislintat player out , 5 on loan and evidently only 6 players can be loaned out abroad but I stand to be corrected.

Mannsverk has had a lot of injury and probably is not too bad but just another signing who is a back up and no better than what we had. Cardiff are a lowly championship club and Tahirovic is wanted by Oxford U ,also championship. This sums up these players, they should never have been signed.

Talk of Ajax wanting another striker so maybe Akpom will leave .I agree Weghorst and Akpom should get us through the season. Everyone below us dropping points. Utrecht drew last night and will drop points. Feyenoord 9 behind and if we beat them they are not going to catch us.

Expect Hlynsson to be loaned out to another Dutch side and hope they do the same with Rasmussen

Bounida cannot agree a contract extension and will be leaving . No surprise he earns 500k and wants a million . Meanwhile it seems Brobbey will likely stay as Ajax want a sale or loan with mandatory agreement. Seems West Ham wont do that and only O Marseille could still buy him.

On the 6 max loans out players our own youth and those under 21 dont count to the 6.Forbs is under 21 and does not count.

So our best youth talent leaves , we have 1 LW, 1 RB and 3 strikers.And about 10 MF of whom Henderson and Taylor are the only 2 worthwhile. So far this transfer market is a shambles , 8 days to go. Forbs to return and Fosu-Mensah on a short contract is all that will come in .

PS We have no money but we are still going to give Berghuis a new contract even though he is washed up and not good enough anymore.

Just reading that Ajax seem to be offering Bounida a wage reduction and that Rensch was offered a reduction.If this is true then the people running this club are hopeless and have no idea. I have made my comments about Rensch ie give him another 1m and we get 15 m plus in the summer .

We need an experience TD who knows how to deal with transfers and contract extensions. Weghorst Traore and Rugani all get 2m each so the likes of Taylor Rensch are going to leave.

I would offer Bounida an increase of say 200k pa to 700K pa and see how he goes next season .If he makes progress in the 1st then extend to 1m pa.

Unfortunately, Ajax does not have any money to make offers or raise salaries of the youth players. Bounida was given a too high salary to begin with and obviously wants more. Maybe some team will sign him to a €1 million contract next summer but if he thinks he is ready for first team football at clubs that could afford this, he is mistaken. The EPL is enforcing the FFP regulations pretty strictly which is why Brobbey cannot be moved for money Ajax are demanding. It's this way all over Europe these days. Barcelona still have not dug themselves out of the hole they got in and have sold off future rights for all kinds of things. Money rules and there is just not enough of it.

2 out on loan , Mannsverk to Cardiff and Hlynsson to Sparta.Both to June and no options to buy. Both need playing time and maybe might show they are worth keeping for next season.

Tahirovic , probably on loan, needs to go as he gets nil playing time .

So a mad 4 days to come. Transfer window in January should be 7 days to sign anyone new or let an odd player leave. All Ajax needed was a left winger ,which should have been sorted back on Jan 2nd and that was it.Rensch 5m is nothing and he was playing well.

So today Akpom is off to Lille on loan ,Henderson may or may not be staying. Hlynsson loan to Sparta goes through.

Lets see what develops.I have zero faith in Kroes at present and reading comments on Showtime I think many fans think the same.

Akpom should stay for Feyenoord game but any half decent TD could sell him for money now and not a loan.

It seems Rensch would have extended but wanted Ajax to pay his tax ,so he got paid gross ,so we lose him on the cheap and no replacement. Meanwhile it is not Kroes fault that V d Boomen and Tahirovic dont want to move.

The summer was a shambles but this transfer market is turning into a nightmare of sorts. Rensch and Henderson go and no replacements.No LW for our hugh game tomorrow.

Evidently we tried to get Akpom to play tomorrow. He left yesterday but when Ajax realised Edvardsen would not be signed in time Ajax wanted to recall him but he refused.

With Godts injured and Edvardsen signing some time Friday any club would have told Akpom to stay and would not let him go. Ajax are run by incompetent amateurs.

Akpom now officially loaned to Lille .So thats 6 Mislintat players on loan and all could return in the summer. The only 1 who would be easy to get money for was Akpom. So just 5 left although Tahirovic can go and todays rumour Ramaj to Dortmund.

Ramaj is leaving and signed for Dortmund for 5m icl. bonuses, he is loaned out to Copenhagen for the rest of the season. A decent goalie although Pasveer is having a great season.

I would expect Ajax will be signing a Dutch goalie on loan in the next 2 days, nothing reported but you cannot have Gorter as only backup although Reverson at Jong is showing promise.

With Ramaj out today dont expect much tomorrow. Banel out from Jong but it seems Tahirovic wont go. Press quote max 6 loans abroad but Forbs does not count ,under 21.

Still can loan Tahirovic but why not let him play for another Dutch side where he can play himself into the shop window for the summer.He wont play another minute for Ajax and frankly if he plays for Jong Ajax for 1 min that is 1 min too long.We have enough young MF who need to play at Jong.
