Lost 4-2 ,Agougil with both goals.At 2-2 with his 2nd goal we were still in the game but goals on 70th and finally 79th killed the game.
Subs after 57min mark VA Dongen,Chourak and Kalokoh for Vink,Wolff and Chahid. Late subs Boerhout and Speksnijder for Banel and Gorter.

2 weeks ago watching our U18 Alders,Gorter Vink and Wolff all played thus this lineup was very inexperienced. Hope VA Donegn can stay fit

A strong team out that should beat lowly Den Bosch!

A 2-0 home defeat against the team joint bottom of the table .Yes a poor performance as usual against a lowly placed side.

They scored on 40 but a poor mistake by Brandes ,who is not a CD but a DMF , on 62 was it.

Only 3 subs Alders for Gooijer on the hour and after 70 mins Chahid for Agougil and Boerhout for Forbs .

Maduro was in charge tonight as part of his obtaining a full coaching license. Clearly did not do that great in motivating them but some of these lads are not going to get motivated.Forbs plus F-Jim and Vos. These last 2 have outgrown Jong but see moderate players like Tahirovic and Mannsverk underperforming in the 1st team and they get few chances.

Not many real talents in either Jong or U18. Hato and Godts are our 2 real talents. Vos, Rijkhoff and maybe Janse can break through .

I watched the last 25 minutes of the match. Fitz-Jim had a hard and good shot that clanged off the post but unfortunately not into the goal. There were a couple of other good changes. Vos had a great recovery run to prevent a player in on de Graaf following a cheap give away in the MF. As SPL said, it is hard to see any of these players making it to the first team. I love Fitz-Him's field awareness but he's really a light weight and cannot defend. Banel needs another year at this level. I'm not sure about Goojier and IMO, I don't think he is any better than Gaaei. It's just too bad that Gaaei was forced into the first team before he got acclimated to Ajax. I think Janse is a real good defender.

We won 2-1 Forbs on 76 and Rikhoff on 80 they scored on 94 mins right at the very end. Subs used Wolff for Boerhout after HT ,Ugwu and Chahid for Brandes and Gorter just after the hour mark and late on Janse and Chourak for Rijkhoff and Vos.

NB Janse had to play 90 mins for U18 on Saturday as they played PSV, U18 won 3-0 and top on Gd over Feyenoord. Ugwu and Wolff played about 30 mins each thus they could play longer today. Janse should be starting in every Jong game now as he has outgrown U18.

Defence has Gorter a DMF at CD .A very weak subs bench. Our U18 currently playing Feyenoord and if we win we are almost certain to be spring champs ( A minute or 2 ago we were 2-0 up with 30 mins left)

Roda are on the verge of promotion and I would expect them to beat Jong easily

A surprising 1-1 draw they scored early Vos replied on 13 and it remained 1-1.

Gaaei went off injured on 23 ,Henry sub . At Ht Chourak for Chahid and in the 2nd half Speksnijder for Boerhout and Bouwman got a few minutes for Gorter.

Vos was outstanding in the match. I suspect he may be more than a part time player for the first team next season.

Willem promoted but runners up not yet decided. Roda still 2nd 3 points ahead of Groningen ,they play each other next week .Groningen will go up if they win as they have a better GD.

Lost 4-1 to a much older AZ team. Banel got a consulation goal. Highlight the 4 subs in the 2nd half making their pro debuts O'Niel being the oldest but Unuvar,Messori and Steur are all 16 year olds from U17 team. Chahid,Speksnijder,Rijkhoff and Boerhout all came off.

Jong Ajax now seem a goalie light with just C Setford and Reverson . My ongoing question about those with contracts up last month looks like being confirmed soon. Showtime says Boerhout a forward is likely to renew but Agougil who can play Defence and Mf is going.Of the trio who have 2 year options Sarfo is going but Chahid and Chourak hope to stay.

Jong beat Vitesse 3-1 yesterday I notice both Chahid and Chourak were subs so looks like they are staying.When it comes to giving out contracts someone at Ajax needs a bomb up their backside!!

Jong beat Volendam 3-1 yesterday a game of 3x45 mins It was on Ajax youtube and I watched the 1st 45mins . Thought Vos looked decent and given no Mf looks special I find it staggering we want to get rid of him.Ajax appear to want 10m. If we are so in need of money the signing of Henderson is the worst ever. 6m signing on fee and over 4m a year.Tahirovic and Mannsverk no better and V D Boomen is just going to be a sub.

We have lost Misehouy and now Vos ,both 19 and should be in the squad as back up players. Mokio the 16 year old Belgium lad looks good, played at LB but could be a LCD or no 6. Verschuren at CD can come through if he stays fit.

We gave 90 mins to a Tim Receuver an old youth about 30 has been playing at KKD level and training to keep fit . I could not belive he was played ,he replaced Ugwu after 45mins.

Initially, I agreed..but over the past couple of games, in Europe, he HAS been a settling influence..occasionally even making good forward passes...he seems to direct operations with signals...but that's with poor opposition! We still await the supposed leadership in Eredivisie games!!

Jong beat Ajax Amateurs 4-1 in a practice match yesterday .an article on Showtime today reviewing the squad.Seems a MF or 2 light but I expect one or 2 of the U19 to break through. Chourak played last night and still to extend but all others are extended or left.

1st game v Jong PSV on Monday I look forward to following them.

I was happy to see that Silvano Vos is going to stay and fight for a place in Ajax 1. If he can stay healthy and play convincing football for Jong Ajax, he will go back up. Henderson won't be kept after this season so that spot opens up.
