Playing FC Eindhoven at present ,cannot get a stream but I note its not on tv.

We won 3-2, are top of the table and won the first period title,4 period winners play in the play offs.

Having gone 1-0 down before HT Dani de Wit with 2 goals and Eiting the other made it 3-1 then they came back to 3-2.

Noa Lang replaced Bijleveld and Mitchel Bakker , who in fact was a sub ,replaced Savastano and thus made his debut for Jong aged 17 .I predict he will play for the 1st team before the end of the season.Only downside his agent was Raiola when he signed a contract last year!! Flemming for Nunnely also a sub.

Winger Mees de Wit seems to have been dropped because his agent is talking with other clubs.Mees only has a contract to next summer and has not appeared regularly for Jong.Half the squad of 25 plus will get released next summer with some even going in January.

We suffered a 5-0 slaughter and poor Sierhuis got 2 yellows and sent off.He replaced Lang at HT and unbeliveably seems to be the only sub used!!

I could not get a stream but following on Ajaxshowtime it seems nobody had a good word for any player although Sierhuis got praised for trying to show some spirit.

Not sure what this says about the state of the Jupiler league when the leaders get slaughtered at home.

Just watched Young Ajax against Young AZ...from 0-2 up to 4-2, a total and utter collapse...did not believe what I was watching as there was very little passing football from Ajax, just "hoof it" over the top!!!
AZ played with passion, very, very impressed with Garcia, AZ no9...not a patch on last year's team!!

What's gone wrong??

Luckily I could not get the 2nd half. Mazraoui with a nice shot for the 1st and Cassierra on 50 made it 2-0 but we obviously just collapsed. Reading tweets of those watching,Dijks and goalie Alblas get the most critics but apart from Eiting and maybe Cassierra and Johnsen(not playing) not sure of any of this team or indeed the whole squad will make it.

Sidoel for Doekhi for the 2nd half ,Matusiwa for Dankerlui on 60 and Flemming for Eiting on 74 were the subs.

We are still 2nd ,how on earth can that be with such a poor squad!!! NEC next ,they are top and should stick 6 past our defence!

Ian asked yesterday whats gone wrong ,as last year Jong were very good. Answer very simple,de Ligt ,Frenkie Donny all playing and the whole team conducted and controlled by Appie. You wont see 4 such talents at this level again.All were far too good for Jong.

I have watched a few Jong games this season and would say only 4 of the 25 or so in the squad could make our 1st team,Zeefuik ,Eiting ,Johnsen and Cassierra.

In January all 4 need to be loaned out to other Eredivisie sides as I dont think they are learning much at this level. Keizer has said Eiting wont be loaned out !! We have only 18 first team squad ie excluding Cerny long term injury and Dijks who is no longer in the 1st team. Thus we need these 4 as replacement subs when injuries occur.

The rest of Jong squad comprises those in their 2nd or 3rd years ie Dankerlui,Mazraoui,Bergsma, Alblas all playing regularly but not good enough for our 1st team . There are quite a few 1st years but none really shine with Sierhuis the only 1 seen to have a chance of making it with us.

Just watched highlights on Ajax tv.Defending for all 4 goals was poor,goalie very weak.Dijks just seemed to stand still as 2 goals came from his side. This guy is unmotivated and no way should he be playing in an Ajax shirt again.Sell him in January.

Friday night we played NEC and lost 2-1. well I did expect that.

Young Ajax beat a young VVV team today 4-3 and I see Orejuela played .He may well be fit for PSV but is he good enough or indeed better than Zeefuik. Have my doubts.

I find it hard to believe that he can be any worse. In the little I've seen of Zeefuik, I don't think he will make it at Ajax but hope to be proven wrong.

Agreed. Ablas has to go. Van Bladeren and Lieuwenburgh should get some games in the domestic (KNVB) cup. And Cassierra has to go, because Sierhuis is almost ready for the first team! So he needs minutes on the pitch at this level

2-2 draw ,our 1st in 4mins an og, they were 2-1 ahead at HT. Noa Lang a sub at Ht for Flemming scored a good goal on 78 mins .Sierhuis the other sub used for de Wit on 74.

From the comments I read on Showtime it was a poor game by Ajax with few shots.

Monday home to Den Bosch ,next Friday Volendam at home.

We beat Den Bosch 1-0 Nunnely the only goal on 9 mins. From what I read on showtime we had a good 1st half with chances to increase the lead but 2nd half not so good.

Shame no Tv we won 7-0 ,what a great start for Bogarde. He will now spend the next 2 days with the 1st team.

Cassierra a hattrick 42 ,61 and 69 mins Nunnely on 64,Mazraoui a pen on 71 so 4 goals in 10 mins. Sierhuis 2 late goals in the last 10 mins .

Johnsen and Eiting both played 62 mins, Lang and Matusiwa the subs .Sierhuis replaced Nunnely on 77 and still scored 2 goals.

NEC top with 40, Jong on 39 and Sittard on 38 but play tomorrow .

Will be interesting to see what they do with Cassierra ,he is too good for Jong but with Dolberg and KJH not really scoring that many will the new coach give him a chance.

Eiting and Johnsen both need to play a higher level.Johnsen will likely be no 3 winger after the winter break if Younes goes. Eiting is sadly behind the waste of space called Siem de Jong in the pecking order.Ajax should loan Eiting out for the 2nd half of the season.
