Ajax are still five points adrift of PSV as they look forward to a visit from Utrecht on Sunday. This has sometimes been a tricky fixture in the past though Utrecht seem to be struggling a bit this season. PSV host FC Twente in what should be comfortable match for them.

Squad of 18 and Younes back in. Younes and possibly Siem playing ,I'm not excited

Younes is back ,Dolberg stays in and KJH sub.Siem de Jong for Donny.

So in the last week I read daft stories that the top clubs in England want Frenkie and Donny but they cannot make our starting team!! I do hope Siem and Schone have great games today.

That they do not make the first 11 at Ajax, doesn't mean they will not be good enough for the Premier League. Until now, all former Ajax players at Tottenham Hotspurs seem successful.

Yes but Vertonghen Alderweireld Sanchez and Eriksen were all regulars and ready to move up a league.
Frenkie is not a regular with us and Donny hasn't had a full season yet,neither ready for EPL. Spurs were the side rumoured for Donny.

Has Ziyech ever converted a free kick? Times I've watched (not too many), he always seems to take - and waste - them.

Every time I see him line up to take one I want to scream. Why they let him take them when all he does is louse them up baffles me.

Thankfully Viergever has got us back in the game as we have been very poor overall.

Utrecht goal should not have counted as it was a clear off sides. I don't know why Ajax always come out slow in the first five minutes of virtually every match. It's not good. Midfield has been quite poor and Siem de Jong always slows things down as he is so stationary. Ziyech is the only one who is good on the ball and he never gets it. Both Neres and Younes are playing well but again nobody moves into a position for an outlet when the double or triple team appears. Sometimes I feel that the team is regressing.

Nice lob kick by Veltman and great assist by de Ligt to peg the game back to even.

Didn't he score a couple against Ajax when he was playing for Twente?

Siem adds nothing ,ok he has picked up a couple of goals as sub but he should not be a starter,we need to start with Frenkie,I rate him highly.

Woefully poor rubbish by Ajax ,tactics too not good, zero creativity sorry but last week we were lucky today we got what we deserved Nothing.
