At last a major contract extension signing .Joel Veltman signed an extension to 2018 today ,previously his contract ran to 2017.

V Rhijn Denswil Klaassen Cillessen and V d Hart are all expected to follow in the near future.

I was mentioning Jong players whose contract run out in 2014 .Poulsen and Bojan are the only first teamers who run out in 2014 and we wont here any decisions on these until the seasons end.

Ajax want all 1st teamers whose contracts run to 2015 either extended or they will be sold this summer. Overmaars has alot of sorting out to do as the following all run to 2015

In addition loaned out players Dijks Hoesen and Lukoki all run to 2015 .

Some of these will be leaving in the summer but thats still alot of players to sort out in the next 2 months or so.

Just read Denswil is not yet agreeing a new contract.His current one to 2015 has an option to 2016.Ajax have offered more money and want to tie him to 2018 but his agent has said its nothing to do with money but Denswil is waiting to see what Ajax plan for him next season. He has only played when Moisander has been injured and the agent says Denswil does not want to be in the same position next season.

So if Moisander goes Denswil will sign a new deal.

I understand his position. Having played a lot of first team games before the winter break he has only just played for the firsts this last 2 games. He has played for Jong since the winter break but this level is way too low for him and no way can he just be stuck in the Jong next season hoping for someone to get injured in the firsts.

If Moisander stays I think Ajax will extend his option to 2016 and loan him out for a season .

IMO, we should sell Moisander this summer when we can get some value from him. I think we paid €5-6M for him and should be able to get €8-10M. He wants to step up to a bigger league and Denswil is pretty much ready to step in. I agree with SPL that he should not be playing Jong matches next season and we should not loan him for fear of an injury to Moisander (which has happened this season) would then leave us in bad shape.

Davy Klaassen has now signed a new contract to June 2018 which is very good news. He was contracted to 2016 so none of those contracted to 2015 have yet extended.

Mickey V d Hart the 3rd choice goalie has done a Denswil and wont sign until he knows Ajax's plans for him next season.
I can understand Denswil but V d Hart is still 19 , first season out of the youths and after about 20 Jupiler games appears to want to be No 2 if Vermeer leaves.

Well I am not sure what planet he is on but I really cannot see him being no 2 next season. Ajax have already spoken to Pasaveer ,Heracles goalie ,but he has said no . Clearly Ajax will sign an experienced goalie when Vermeer goes .

If V d Hart is not happy then he can push off. Good goalies seem to grow on trees in Holland eg. Bizot at Groningen and Hahn now at Dordrecht and next season Fword both came out of our youths in the last 2 years.

Don't we have some type of buy back clause for Bizot? Maybe I'm thinking of one of the other keepers who we sold in the last year or so but I do seem to remember................... , but maybe it's old age creeping up on my brain.

Relax Orange its not your brain. We did have some buy back clause on Bizot but I believe we may have given it up on buying Zivkovic. Well there was some reference to it on buying Zivkovic.

I see today Utrecht ,who may lose their promising goalie, are looking at Sergio Padt another of our old youths who went to Gent a year or 2 ago.

Cillessen , current contract to 2016,is open to an extension. Denswil has said no way does he want to leave he just wants to play more games.Think he will in the end extend as I can see Moisander leaving.

What's the story on Moisander leaving? Has he indicated he wants to go? If so, why, and where?

Nothing from Moisander as yet. The press just say with 1 year left on his contract and he will be 29 in September he is ready for a big money move .I get the feeling he is expected to consider offers this summer.

Schone has indicated he is happy to stay another year and is not motivated by money. FDB said that they want him to extend but if he does not they will allow him to play next season even though his contract runs out in 2015.Ajax would allow him to leave for free in 2015 as he did not cost us anything. He is a very useful player and with Moisander and Poulsen likely going we can do with his experience.

Moisander leaving for 'big money' kind of surprises me. He is a good, solid, defender for the Eredivisie and can be very successful here -- he has served us well, to date -- but I don't think has that extra kind of quality that can command 'big money' in the big leagues. I could be wrong, but that's my impression.

Moisander will only be earning our max of 1m euros.In the EPL mid table teams like Stoke Villa will pay him 2m . At coming up 29 Moisander can earn big money with a mid table EPL club for the next 3 or 4 years and thus I expect him to leave.

Gino v Kessel ,Jong Ajax striker who has been on loan at Trencin Slovakia, has had his contract extended to 2015 ,Ajax had the option to extend.Not sure what chances he will have next season as Jong Ajax will have Meleg,Honer Hendriks as strikers plus Menig from the youths.

Sheraldo Becker ,whose contract runs out this summer, is evidently talking about a new contract although I notice his agent is Raiola (thought Kishna and Sporkslede were the only Ajax players with this dodgy agent)

If I were Ajax, I would not deal with any player who had Raiola for an agent. Don't care who he is, or how great he is touted to be, let him find a team somewhere else.

All very quiet ,still about a dozen first teamers plus loaned out whose contracts run to 2015 ,that need to be sorted this summer.

The only contracts in the last week or 2 were Alblas the Jong goalie who had an option to 2015 which has been taken up by the club and El Hasnaoui a Jong midfielder who had an option to 2016 and again the club has extended.

Good news today V Rhijn has signed a new contract to 2018 just like Veltman and Klaassen. Still a lot of contract work for Ajax to do in the next few weeks .

Read yesterday that still no firm decision on Sheraldo Becker.whose contract runs out next month.Apart from being promoted from the A1 youth to Jong Ajax after the winter break he went on the tour to Indonesia and played both games.Mind Raiola is now his agent so that may be why there is a delay.

All other players whose contracts run to next month have either been renewed or released ,Ajax again have now confirmed Castillion,loaned out to NEC will not get a new contract and is released.

Sheraldo Becker, a winger who debuted for Jong Ajax this season has signed a new 3 contract until 2017.

3 new players contracted ,all just out the youth and now with Jong Ajax.

Goalie Xavier Mous, midfielders Danny Bakker and Milan Vissie. All contracted to 2016 with a year option.The goalie
is of course in Austria.

Don't think the 2 MF's are the pick of our youth , Nouri and V d Beek both 2 years younger at 17 are probably better already but then again when they are 19 they should be in our first team.

that's interesting. I guess FdB has faith in him that the rest of us do not. I wonder what will happen with Lucas Andersen this year. If he doesn't get playing time I'm sure he will ask to leave.

ive always had a bit of a niggling feeling that serero isnt quite good enough, but when i thought that about Daley a few years back, well... FdB proved me wrong there..

And still we sign fringe youths for Jong Ajax. Daoud Bousbiba a 19 year old winger has also been contracted to 2016 with a further 1 year option . Been injured alot last season and played mainly in the A2 youths.

2 more youngsters contracted. Django Warmerdam, a midfielder,who moves up to Jong Ajax this season gets a contract to 2016 plus a years option.

The other new contracted player,same contract period as Warmerdam, is 18 year old Aschraf El Mahdioui a midfielder who will be in our A1 youth team this season.

V Rhijn actually agreed a new contract to 2018 back in May and I said he had signed but in fact he only put pen to paper today.

Ajax want all first teamers with contracts to 2015 to either extend or leave and just to update the following still have contracts to 2015

Vermeer, Siggy, Sana , Schone, Moisander,Denswil, Dijks plus Lukoki who is currently back in Jong Ajax .In addition Tete currently in the first team squad also has a contract to 2015 .

Still some to be sold and extensions to be agreed.

Denswil is the most puzzling of players. He appears to be quite physically talented but mentally weak. FdB has been critical of him and I won't be surprised if he decides not to extend though I hope he does.

Jairo Riedewald has signed to 2018,he is 18 this month hence he is able to sign a long term contract.Good news as I think he has alot of talent.

Richairo Zivkovic has signed a contract extension to 2019,now that he is 18. Under 18 and you can only sign youth contracts paying about 30,000 euros pa.and for a max 3 years ,thus Zivkovic is now on a full adult contract. Bazoer will be the next youth to reach 18 next month ,so expect him to extend. El Ghazi ,who is 19, and still on a youth contract to 2016 is in talks on a new one.

Of course Schone Moisander Sana and Denswil still have contracts to 2015 and Ajax policy on first teamers is you extend or you don't play if in the last year of a contract.

Sana wont get a new contract and is not now a first teamer ,so hopefully will get a free transfer in January.

Denswil has an option to 2016 which Ajax can implement when they like so no problem there.

Schone came on a free and although Ajax are likely to offer him a new one soon they have said they wont press him even if it means he goes next summer on a free.The reason being they paid nothing for him.

Moisander I expect to extend to 2016 however with the transfer deadline only 2 weeks ago I quess both parties did nothing before then in case he was sold.
