SE6Ajacied schreef:Cheers Ko-interesting read that-a shame really that only AFC of the other Amsterdam sides have made the Topklasse-would be good to see Blauw Wit or DWS etc there as well
Yeah, DWS were in the Hoofdklasse only a few years ago, but they really fucked it up. Apparently they're in the Third Class now. That's what I call a downward spiral...

Two Amsterdam sides in the Hoofdklasse at the moment: JOS Watergraafsmeer and FC Chabab (Moroccan club).

DWV (Amsterdam North) and Blauw-Wit are in the First Class.

Having listed the Dutch U19 squad I thought I would just ask here why Lukoki has not got a contract yet .Last season he played for the A2 youth which is the junior A youths but he is now 1of the 5 best
U19 forwards in Holland one of which Castaignos plays regularly for the Fword.

Ajax have gone mad on giving away contracts in the last 3 years to youths . Hopefully if this young lad , who is a right winger, has some good games for the Dutch U1 9 Ajax may go rash and contract him .

Read my post above re Lukoki. Well today ADO have said they are interested in him if he is not offered a contract .They will sign him on a free at the end of the season . Lukoki's agent said several clubs are interested but they will talk to Ajax first .

Now I have never seen the player but he is in the Dutch U 19's so why are Ajax waiting . In addition 2 other A1 players have made the U19's this season and like Lukoki will come to the end of their youth this season , Veltman and de Kamps. All 3 were in the A2 last season but are now playing regularly for the A1's .
I am not worried as only Dutch teams appear to be interested in Lukoki and I am sure he will wait to see what Ajax offer but if an english club wanted him then they would almost certainly just offer him a big deal and take him from under us.

Pull your finger out Ajax and give this talent a contract asap

Ajax want to give 15 year old B1 left winger Ricardo Kishna a 3 year contract from 4th January , his 16th birthday . He is a year younger than all the others in the B1 team ie the only one born in 1995 the others are all 1994. Evidently the leeches from England are watching him but I did read at the start of the season that Ajax were going to give him a contract when he is 16 .Ironically at the start of the season the other left winger in the B1 squad was Van Velzen who has gone to Man U and was not on contract with us.

So when do Ajax give Lukoki a contract , he came on as sub for the Jong last Monday so surely Ajax
should offer him a contract . He was only an A2 youth last season so he has clearly develop alot .

Talk today that Kishna is wanted by 2 english clubs , probably Chelsea or Arsenal and 1 Italian , probabaly Inter as they are looking at another 16 year old Jetro Willems , who debuted for Sparta last night .

I quess it will be down to his parents ie if they have no decent job and just rent they may take the blood money from England just like Van Velzen's parents did.

This stealing or buying of dutch kids has really only been going on in numbers for the last 5years .
Before that there was the odd lad ie Owusu Abeyie left us for Arsenal a few years back but he was kicked by us and has never made it .

This recent mini deluge of dutch kids to England has already thrown up more failures that successes

Jordi Brouwer has spent 4 years in Liverpool reserves but is now back trying to get a contract at ADO
Another Liverpool failure Weijl who left AZ a couple of years a go drifted back home via Helmond .

Arsenal had Barazite for nearly 4 years and he has come back to Vitesse and not doing anything special
They have Ozyakup from Az and an U19 Int but he is still playing mainly youth footy into his 3rd year .

Bruma at Chelsea is highly rated and like Van Aanholt has played some first team games at Chelsea but Chelsea are now going to spend big and Bruma talks of coming to PSV .

I give all these examples because making it in England when you arrive at 15 or 16 is very difficult and the kids I mention are drifting back home .

At present Tim Krul is playing regularly in goal for Newcastle due to an injury to their first choice but he spent 4 years in their reserves .

I hope Kishna signs for us but 1 point if he does not . In the summer of 2009 he joined us from ADO so has not be here since a boy.

Apart from Van Velzen we have not lost any other talent in recent seasons. Hope we do not lose Kishna.

Jody Lukoki (A1, 18 years old) will join the A-selection tomorrow, right winger. Very fast, good cross, traditional Ajax-winger.

Ricardo Kishna (B1, 15 years old) will most likely sign a contract when he turns 16. Exceptionally gifted, exceptional potential. Left/right winger. Fabulous left foot and an excellent athlete.

Bob de Klerk , assistant coach to our A1 with Frank de Boer has left and joined Aaaron Winter at Toronto( Winter is technical director)

So looks like Fred Grim and Bergkamp as his assistant will take over the A1 but the A2 youths now need a new coach with Vink now with the Jong Ajax. So really all change with coaches.

Just picked up that Ricardo Kishna , just 16 and rated one of the best 16 years olds in Holland has verbally agreed to sign for Ajax and wont go to England. Great news.

Great film thanks. I didn't realise Bryan Roy was working for Ajax now. I remeber him at Nottingham Forest after he left Ajax as a player and wondered what had happened to him.

The A1 drew 2-2 with Heerenveen today and are still second in the league but Lukoki was playing !!!!

Surely he should not be playing at that level anymore !

the report of us going to sign the above youngster from Willem seem a bit premature as PSV want him and both the lad and his father are big PSV fans.

Today's report states this v d Boomen kid is to sign a 3 year contract from the summer.Obviously a very big talent as he is not yet 16.

Do not know what is happening with our biggest talent Kishna. Benji do you know what is happening?
I really do hope Chelsea or Arsenal are not going to get him.

According to a respected youth watcher he has a verbal agreement with Ajax, not known when he will sign his contract.

Excellent performance today by the A1 (2nd), beating Sparta (1st) with 6-0. Both backs, Boilesen and Ligeon, were dominating this match.

Timothy van der Meulen is currently on trial with my Scottish team Dundee United. Apparently he has been told told he cna leave for free. Anybody any information about him or how good he is? I know he's played for the Dutch U-21's

No he has not played for Dutch U 21's . I think he played at U18 level which means little as they only play friendly games at that level. He is in his second year as a contracted player in our reserve team but has played very little he is a centre back. He did join Haarlem on loan last January, dutch second division ,played 1 league game before they folded up and returned to our reserves. I expected him to be loaned out to Almere , near the bottom of the dutch second league and our feeder club and very surprised he is getting a trial at a Scottish premier club . I would be surprised if a youngster who is struggling to get in our reserve team will get into your first team .

Hope that is of help

Hope that helps .

Cheers for info. According to some website I was on he had been capped by u-21's but I should have learnt to not trust certain websites. United badly short of players so maybe to boost squad or one for the future. That and the fact we're pap now!

From youngguns (arsenal youth site):
The 6 foot 1 (1,85) inch full back has already played for the Gunners having turned out for the Under 16′s at the Emirates Stadium in a pre-season friendly with Chelsea. Like Angha, Monterio and Hajrovic, Marinkovic is Swiss-born but he can claim Serbian nationality through his parents.

Stefan’s explosive performances in the Nike Cup promoted Arsenal scouts to invite him to London Colney for a closer look. Four days later Liam Brady was still undecided and despite interest from Chelsea, the cultured defender has earned himself a make or break chance to prove his worth in North London with a second training stint.

Marinkovic is a tall yet skilful Swiss Under 15 international who loves to get forward – very much like Brazilian wing-back Pedro Botelho. Despite possessing a gaunt looking frame, he’s willing to put himself into challenges and is especially noted for having a scrappy tenacious nature. It appears Arsenal’s traditional mould of having diminutive and rapid left backs is changing in favour of more aggressive and tall ones.
