I think Batista Meier and Nicolas Kühn (if he can stay healthy) have the potential to be the next major wing talent after Leroy Sane.
Reacties op de transfer:I agree about Meier and Kuhn being are potential next major wingers. Just hope that neither becomes injury prone and that they both choose wise career paths. For example, who wants to see Kuhn joining Barca's youth/reserves?
@Karl-Heinz Riedle has been saying for the last few months that Kuhn is not happy at RB and that he wants to leave in order to get 1st team experience. Also could explain why he wasn't involved in the Winter camp friendly while Abouchabaka, Ludewig, and Stierlin were.....
it's an interesting move and Ajax do play youth, has an easier chance to breakthrough while only 18 and the more he performs the more he'll be in demand in Germany and elsewhere.
tTransfermarkt has Nicolas Kuhn leaving for free (no mention of loans) to Ajax but seems he'll be joining the Ajax U19. Which is to be expected, still easier to break through a club that promotes youngsters like Ajax over RB.

hat's another blow to RB's youth dev. They axed the reserves as it's obvious that only the best players will stick around after the U19. Include that RB hasn't promoted any youth nor does anyone that came from their youth system played any minutes as they total 0. Then Kuhn being one of those players RB wanted to keep has seemingly left the club.
I think promising youth kids need to stop joining RB because of $$$. Breakthrough and impress in other 1BL or 2BL and then if you really really want to play at RB. With the experience you have, you are more likely to get chances.
I wonder now what will the other RB players do. Will Abouchabaka, Majetschak, Stierlin, Ludewig etc follow Kuhn out the door? Whether in Winter or Summer....
good vid, just missing his solo goal in this season UEFA Nations League vs Porto where he dribbled past 2 players then into the box then another 2 players+keeper tried to stop him only for him to score. 5/11 of the team tried to stop his goal all failed, lol. He's a player that big teams like Barca and others are after. I'm sure his play during the Nations League attracted even more attention in what ended up being a half a season where he was mostly injured and barely played. Even the U17 WC, I don't think he was fully fit, had a goal and an assist in 3 games played out of a possible 5 but should have honestly have scored something like 3-4 goals. He even at one point almost dribbled past 3 Brazilian players in the QF, was very nearly in towards the goal too.
at least at a team like Ajax where they nurture young talent to develop and give them chances to play. Might be a good move especially for someone like him. Just needs to stay injury free.
looks like there is an update from the Dutch reporter, looks like Ajax bought Kuhn directly for $2 M. One has to remember that Kuhn's contract expires this Summer. I hazard he forced a move out.....
RB wilde Kühn wel houden, blijkbaar.nfo from Bild about Kuhn.
► According to BILD information on Monday there will be the medical check, Tuesday then the signature and the official performance with Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars. Kühn has already said goodbye to the team in Leipzig. BILD learned: The transfer fee should be at more than two million euros.

if he's playing for Ajax U19, his 1st game could be next weekend. Besides Ajax, interested parties were Barca and Man City. Neither would give has many chances to youngsters as Ajax would.
