Looks like Ajax aren't the only ones who'll be missing a player or two. I believe I read that Vlaar was injured and De Guzman was suspended. Is this right ?

They're not the only two, Blind3. Also El Ahmadi, Landzaat and perhaps Hofland are injured.

If I would have to name one Feyenoord player that I would like to see in an Ajax jersey it would probably be De Guzman. He's suspended.

On top of that: two central defenders injured (Vlaar/Hofland), plus their second best midfielder (El Ahmadi).

We really should destroy them...

Yep That's three wins in the last three for the mighty 'Pool, and a 1-0 win away at Brum is really good, considering they had us as joint favourites (with Barnsley) to go down this year and considering Birmingham were joint top and are favourites to go back to the Premier.

Early days but the Seasiders are flying high(ish). Watching the highlights tomorrow morning will set me up nicely for main event.

He wasn't the last defender -- another defender had gone behind him in front of the goal before the foul was committed. So a yellow is the appropriate call, unfortunately.

Really? If you're through on goal vs. the keeper the defender gets a red card... so if there's only one defender back shouldn't the keeper get a red?

Nice goal by Sarpong. Created by him and Suarez from a poor Feyenoord clearance. Our defense has been looking OK, doing their bit to get back and defend. Sno seems a step late on almost all his challenges. Leonardo hasn't looked to effective and I hope he gets subbed out.

IIRC the rule is that if the last defender commits a foul on a player that is otherwise through to the goal, he gets a red. In this situation, however, the keeper was out of the box and there was another defender behind him, so the keeper wasn't the last defender.
