Davids and Vermaelen both out, it is suggested that Lindgren will move back to midfield and Vertonghen will play in the middle of defence.
PS Why on earth are Kuffour and Colin being paid by this club!!!! (Yes I do know Colin is dropped etc.)
Vertonghen and Lindgren are both midfielders but Koster prefers them in central defence to the above 2 who both play in that position.

Because we need defenders, unfortunately they aren't good enough. I've been asking myself similar questions all year.
To the game, is Sulejmani still injured?

He's one of the targets for MvB, and i hope we can get him this summer

Yeah, glad he won't get a chance in the return leg. I've been impressed by him and would love to see him here, especially if Huntelaar goes in the summer.

Yeh, it'd be great to get him if KJH leaves....but what about Darío Cvitanich? We've spent a lot on him...still rather untried, yet but shouldn't we be looking at strengthening......or rather, building, the defence?

Watched the game with an english stream for a change.I too was impressed with Sarpong.Hopefully KJH is keeping his goalscoring for Twente
as he was quiet again last night.
