Nicolae Mitea has gone back to Amsterdam and will not make the trip to Scotland. For this reason, Henk ten Cate has called up John Goossens, left winger from the Ajax youth. He has joined the team in De Lutte this afternoon. Will he see action against Quick '20? We'll see!

According to Ajax Netwerk , the match finished 8-nil to Ajax. Sneijder had 3, Kennedy 2, Sarpong 2, and Huntelaar 1.
AN has Ajax lined out thusly : Gentenaar; Ogararu, Stam (46' Colin ), Heitinga , Emanuelson (72' Schilder) ; Gabri ( 69' Maduro ) , Sneijder , Davids ( 66' Anita ) ; Kennedy ( 79' Doutie ) , Huntelaar ( 79' Fanteni ), Sarpong ( 76' Goossens )
