what a magical game!

i have no idea why telemundo aired the match, but boy am i thankful.
tom du mul injected so much life into the game when he came on. he took us from winning the game to dominating it. o wish we could see the games each week over here.

the spanish announcers had a hard time pronouncing all the dutch names.
but he did get one right every time... "cuckoo"

What's with that referee, it's ridiculous. I'd expect something a little bit more sober and professional. Imagine for a second that PSV would have won this one like that and the referee acted like that on one of the goals.... We'd be on a conspirationist spree right now :eusa_pray:

Indeed. The Ajax supporters showed their respect for him as well. During the warming-up we chanted his name and he briefly raised his hand, greeting us. No-one in the away end blamed him for 'doing his job'.

Also when Davids gave his shirt to one of the assistants there. Real sweet of him :xyxthumbs:

It turns out that Davids got a bit agitated with one of the ball boys because he took too long in giving back the ball. That’s the reason Davids gave the kid his jersey. The wrong kid, mind you. :D Ajax has come up with a simple solution though. The kid that was actually barked at by Davids will get the original shirt, while the other kid will get a new one.

Now would be a good time for me to mention, again, how glad I am to see Davids back in the Ajax jersey.
