That's what happens traditionally yes, but, due to the play-offs, the last game is a little earlier than normal and, if Ajax have a chance still of making the play-offs, they might leave it to the very last away game (of the play-offs) to wear the new shirt.

(That's a long way of saying "maybe" ;) )

Well! It looks as though we only need a draw to "make" the Playoffs. If the results go well, we could be up against AZ again!
Total farce, these playoffs - looks as though there IS a chance of CL even though it's been a crap season!

Who runs the Eredivisie? Are the rules influenced by some of our small African leaders whose teams never lose?

Let's do it next season - and EARN IT PROPERLY!

I don't see the problem. Everybody knew the rules when this season started. The play-offs is a kind of lottery in which we can move on towards the CL. Against the odds. Who cares? If we stumble on to beat Feyenoord and AZ then we deserve it. And the others can F it up their Azz.

According to Sky Sports, Wesley "aggravated" his hamstring against Vitesse and is doubtful for RKC.

Any truth in this?

I don't know how serious is his injury, but that's definitively true that he injured himself again on thursday...

Sneijder needs a good rest like 2 weeks, I dont want him to miss the world cup. But thank God we are virtually through to the play offs and most likely will play Feyenoord. We will beat them 2-0 at home and lose 2-1 away, and as for AZ we will eat them up 4-1 at home and draw 1-1 away

Wes will not make the RKC match but he may be fit for the home game against Feyenoord on thursday. Urby et Pienaar look like they will be fit in time for RKC.

RKC 1 Ajax 0 after 17 minutes.

But not to worry, Willem II have just equalised at Utrecht, and Twente v Groningen is still 0-0

Johnny Heitinga equalises for Ajax 1-1. BTW Rosenberg went off in the 10th minute, substituted by Boukhari, maybe he got a slight knock I dont know. Dr Duncan can you concur on that?

3 - 1 now. This looks like the form we will need in the play-offs.

And Willem II lead Utrecht 2 -1. Hope it stays that way ... then it's Groningen for 5th place.

Willem II are 1-2 up against Utrecht, while Twente Enschede are still goaless with Groningen. IF it stays this way then Utrecht will miss out on the play offs
