Really there is no doubt that Ajax will beat RKC. But the question is how. Who will be in the starting eleven, and who will be on the bench … and who will stay home …..

Hoogendorp is in very good form for RKC. I take RKC to score at least one goal; Ajax, I'm not so confident about.

4-1 Ajax with 2 goals from Rosenberg and 1 each from Galasek and Sneijder. RKC's goal will come from an own goal by our goalie who punches the ball into the net under pressure from a corner.

Remember where you heard this first. :headbang:

:headbang: :headbang: I'm over for the game this weekend. 4-2 is a little optimistic. My money's on a 1-1 draw. I've got €30 on @ 9/1. I might have something to celebrate with!
COME ON AJAX! GET YOURSELVES OUT OF THIS SLUMP!

I'll be there, all the way from Birmingham!

Congratulations on a wise decision and I am not referring to the 9/1 bet. :D

OPH: did you ever meet Ian...? I'm not sure.

Anyway: you will meet him on Sunday, that's for sure. Whether you want it or not... ;)

My god you make it sound a threat - I have no problem with meeting the guy at all as long as his day job isn't being a pc plod from that part of the world.
However, I just hate seeing grown men cry when 30 Euro's have just been flushed down the drain. His money would have been better spent on buying us all a few rounds of drink. :alc:

And who on the RCK lineup will score the own goal so we can win 1-0 :D

It's OK everyone. I'm nothing to do with "plod". I "try" to "educate" the kids of England! I might be fighting a losing battle!!!

Well once again we are playing a formation that what fit players we have available are totaly unsuited for, so don't hold your breath for a good result. This is the price you pay for throwing pragmatism out the window, and allowing a particular formation to become a sacred cow.

I almost posted this at half time and now I wish I had because of the way the game turned out.

The problem is not the quality of our squad. It's lack of confidence. I really think that's all that's holding us back.

Hopefully this was a turning point. Thank bog Maduro scored when he did.

From what I've read, Rosenberg's goal was quality. I hope this helps his confidence. I look forward to hearing how well he played from the people who saw/attended the match.

Actually this was the first time I've seen him play, but I was really impressed. I don't think we've got a striker problem, maybe our striker has a problem. Same as the rest of the team. Yes the goal was awesome but he had played well apart from that, lots of good linkups with Sneijder and Boukhari.
