19 Nov 2005: Ajax - FC Twente

After Sunday's NEC game there will be no Ajax game for two weeks. The weekend of 12/13 November is an 'internationals' weekend (Holland will play a friendly against Italy, for example).

First Ajax match after the NEC game: FC Twente - Ajax on Saturday 19 November.

Few months later and Blind is back where he started-a fucked up Ajax.
Here's an analogy: If youre in a fucking situation, draw the dick, and it will settle things.

Now its time for Ajax to find out their true "manhood"

Guys! We have another classic Zoef post!

Another brilliant, penis-focused post. Absolutely fantastic. :D :D

Zoef, we love, you. Keep drawing your dick, whatever that may be.

This has to be one of the most surreal posts I have ever seen on a message board anywhere.

Zoef, keep them coming - you are a genius

Here is a question once posed to me by a fellow ajacoid over in new york.
When would it be time to pull the plug on Blind? If we fail to win against Twente, then where does everyone stand?

If we keep f*cking up this is what should happen:

1. replace the chairman and some of the directors/councellors
2. replace about 50% of the team
3. replace the head-coach

In that order - and I mean it.

Danny Blind said, that the game against Twente will be much better than our last games. And I believe him- I can't imagine that our players are able to play worse...

I would reverse 2 and 3. Otherwise the new coach wants different players and will play the "this is not my team" card when the results don't match the expectations.

If we're gonna replace blind Danny, the new team should be built by Martin van Geel and the new coach.

In the final analysis it is the fans who decide how long a coach stays.

The board can give all the votes of confidence they like, but once the white hankies start waving, the pressure becomes irresistable.

Blind should be given to the end of the season. If sacked now who is available to take over??

It cannot be easy when half the team wont be there next season and indeed some will go in Jan. No other big team that I know of have half the team about to go !! It has to be unsettling. Maybe Mourinho would struggle if were in that position !!

Ps Not having a striker who can put the ball in the net does not help his cause.

It seems clear that we must win this one! The players should follow Zoufs suggestion. It might scare off Twente and would certainly give the crowd some entertainment as well.

We'd also have an excuse to get a whole new team when all our players got arrested and recieved lengthly bans etc etc :headbang:

(As the man in Monty Python said "this is getting silly" so I'll stop)

Need to win this one lads though...enough said

I think Blind shouldn't even get a date, before when he has to succeed. A new coach is not the solution. That would only make it worse, in the long run. Blind seems to be a guy most of the fans like. Let him do his business, and let him stay. You can't just change a team in a few months.

I have to agree with you there. You can already see the pressure Blind is under - and giving him an 'expiry' date is supposed to make things better? Obviously he's not going to win any prizes the way things are going at present but I don't think piling on that sort of pressure would do anyone any favours.

The coach takes the blame I know but it's just as much, arguably more, the players fault. I can't see a new coach will make any difference at this stage.
