I guess I have to explain something here...

Take a look at Nemesis' home town and the colours in his avatar and you'll see that we have the Ajax Talk version of NEC vs Vitesse (Nijmegen vs Arnhem) in this thread. Which I can guarantee you is a big grudge game in the eastern Netherlands.

Obviously, I hope we'll hammer NEC and Vitesse... :hypocrite:

Kudos for including "The Striker's Graveyard" on the Ajax-USA homepage. Perfect timing in lieu of our scoring output of late. I just hope we can do it this time. It's very frustrating that we have almost as many points in the CL as in the Eredivisie...admitedly 6 were against FC Thun but surely they are no worse than Nijmegen

Barreto is the man to watch imo but I think we can snidge this one. 3 points, 2-0 for Ajax.

This team seems to have the worrying characteristic of playing to the level of the opposition. All the best passages of play have come against the best teams (feyenoord, AZ, PSV). Ajax needs to stop underrating the opposition and give 100% every week.

This team can still win the eredivisie. But it requires the steely resolve that all great figures possess. Holding your head in your hands or punching the grass when you miss a goal is a symptom of despair. It's counterproductive.

We have to show them some faith but they also have to show us,the fans, that we can have some faith. Ajax are lacking urgency, lacking heart and most of all lacking guts.Our arrogance is a little to high right now.We are not going to win games simply because we are Ajax that's for sure.

We need to stick a bottle of tabasco sauce on every ajax player's ass, maybe that way they'll hustle for 90 minutes.
