Three matches left and Ajax need six points to win the league and one to clinch 2nd place as Feyenoord still have a mathematical chance if they win out. NEC at home should allow Ajax to get back on track but with this club, any result is possible. Away to Groningen in midweek will be tough and the Twente at home to close out the season.

If PSV beat Feyenoord they will pick up a max 9 points from the 3 games.Sparta got beaten at home by out of form Twente on Sunday and PSV will win there.

So we need 6 points and I am hopeful but not confident of beating NEC but Groningen will be difficult they are very good at home. We could easily need to beat Twente for the title and if that is the case my gut feeling is we will blow it .

I am by nature a pessimist but hopefully Feyenoord will at least hold PSV to a draw.

PSV are in form but Feyenoord are always tough at home. It’s right before Ajax’s game next week (I’m sure you knew that) and it could be quite a spectacle so I will try to watch both.

It is still possible for Utrecht to pip Feyenoord for third place. However, Feyenoord have two easy matches after Sunday, and a far superior goal difference.

Feyenoord on a run of 7 wins and as quoted by Orange Utrecht can still pip them for 3rd place.They will certainly not want to lose to PSV and if they win will only be 2 behind them and could still get 2nd place. For once Feyenoord can do Ajax a favour but they wont think like that they want to win for themselves .

No Edvardsen so obviously Godts will start. Bit of a worry as Edvardsen has contributed a lot coming on for the last 30 minutes. It also sounds like Brobbey is injured.

2-0 after 10 mins .Every Ajax is currently painfully cheering Feyenoord. I have never had to do this in 50 years but of course we will still need to win later.

No qualms cheering Feyenoord on for me! PSV defence was all over the place on the two goals, both off counters, but the game has settled down now.

I am cheering them on .

Weird looking Ajax lineup has been announced. Godts benched again, AS have Berghuis at LW but maybe he will play MF and Taylor will play on the left. We’ll see.

Back to 2-1 horrible feeling PSV will win 3-2. If so I stick to Ajax will bottle it but lets hope Feyenoord hold on , a draw is ok for me.

Berghuis is poor and should never start but at least Pasveer is back and no Brobbey.

Decided to watch Feyenoord game live , now 2-2 and watched 10 mins and PSV all over them and will win.Painful watching.

It’s 2-2 now and Feyenoord are looking really weak since HT. @SPL I think you’re right, PSV are going to win this.

Painful was the right word. Feyenoord didn’t really have a game plan, which left them just standing in the box trying to repel PSV attacks for the whole second half.

99th min winner,we now need to win . Not at all confident in us.

What a poor half of football from Feyenoord. They had a couple of breakaways early in the 2nd half but the final passes were awful. PSV were the deserved winners. The championship is still in Ajax's hands. I prefer them to win it on their own at this point.

Another first half where Ajax can’t break down the defence of a moderate team. They have won a lot of these games in the last half hour, let’s hope they pull it off today.

How on earth is this moderate bunch of players going to get 6 more points.Stick Godts on for Berghuis.

Berghuis at LW is a strange one. I don’t think he had many touches.

I don’t see them picking themselves up to beat Groningen after this. PSV odds on to win the title now and you can’t really say we deserve it. I wonder if anyone has ever let a 9 point lead slip in the final 5 games before.
