Ajax host Emmen on Sunday with a score to settle because of the earlier away draw. PSV are away to Volendam and let's hope Wim Jonk's men can do us a favor ahead of Ajax visit to Eindhoven.

A must win game , Hato for Baas only change from last week.

YC for Alvarez means he is out of next week's match against PSV.

I guess Bassey needs a run out in the 2nd half at CB for Alvarez.

Table stays the way it began the weekend but Ajax added another goal to the differential over PSV. Unfortunately, Alvarez picked up a YC and is suspended for next week's match. Decent enough game though poor defending by Sanchez led to a goal that should not have happened.I guess we know where Bassey stands not even getting a minute of playing time when Heitinga knows Alvarez is suspended next week. Good to see Vos and Regeer coming on late.

Rulli (7) - had a couple of smart saves
Sanchez (6.5) - was playing very well until he let the Emmen attacker get inside of him for an easy shot on goal
Timber (7.5) - rock solid match
Alvarez (6.5) - knew he was on edge and picked up a YC anyway; otherwise played well
Hato (6) - good but a bit tentative which is understandable
Grillitsch (7) - don't think he conceded possession at all and his passing was spot on
Davy On Goal (6) - very ordinary on the night
Taylor (6.5) - had some good possession but carded on a reckless tackle
Berghuis (7) - busy with the ball and more than decent
Tadic (7) best game in some time
Bergwijn (7) - got the match winner and was solid with the ball
Brobbey (5) - no more than average
Baas (5.5) - decent enough coming in for Hato
Conceicao (6.5) - dangerous ever ytime he touched the ball
Vos (NR) - on late
Reeger (NR) - on late

PSV next Sunday to determine who will finish 2nd.

After a comfortable 1st half we struggled in the 2nd and at 2-1 thought we are going to drop points against them again but Tadic with a lovely finish made it certain.

Alvarez with a silly tackle now out v PSV but Bassey does not come on . Think Grillitsch will play in his position but who knows!
My money is on PSV for next week and if they win I think they will get 2nd place.

Brobbey does not look fit or good enough and at present, a big problem.

Good to see teenagers getting playing time . Wijndal, Bassey and Lucca will go this summer and I am not impressed by Brobbey at all. Sanchez, until his error on their goal is doing ok though and I would keep him. Grillitsch had a decent game and should now play every game until the end .

Brobbey looks like he is carrying an extra 5kg. I think there is a reason he is not getting much playing time.

The YC seemed soft to me, but he makes so many dumb fouls it’s not really surprising that he’s suspended again.

PSV didn’t look great in the second half against Volendam. I’m still not really expecting Ajax to win there without Alvarez and Kudus but it’s not like playing Feyenoord in de Kuip.

Nothing firm on either Kudus or Rensch, just they "might" be available.
