Ajax enter the Beker competition this Wednesday. Not clear whether those who missed yesterday's match will be fit.

Brobbey seems to miss this game and Timber also plus the 4 with flu also likely out but it could get better tomorrow if 1 or 2 of them are better.Leaves us with 11 players,plus 2/3 spare goalies. So Lucca for Brobbey and Wijndal back in the defence but I read Ajax are not happy with him.They get rid of Blind and decide Wijndal is struggling and is not currently good enough. Some Young Ajax players must now get a game .

PS Valencia want Grillitsch but as we have such a small squad at present we have said no for the time being.

The club is in a shambolic mess.How does a big club like Ajax only have 18 first teamers( counting only 2 goalies)

7 missing ie Berghuis,Kudus,Bergwijn Timber with flu, Brobbey Grillitsch injured and Taylor ,who had flu last week, has not recovered from NEC game(clearly should not have played let alone 80mins).In addition Baas and Regeer are injured .

So Lucca, Wijndal and Fitz-Jim start and the bench will be all Young Ajax apart from goalies.

Good chance to see the youngsters play!!!! I guess nobody received flu shots last fall.

Alvarez is now ill but Taylor is fit enough.Rulli debuts with Wijndal,Lucca and Fitz-JIm starting.Apart from Pasveer and Steks the other 9 subs are all Young Ajax

Luckily I did not get stream just followed comments on Ajax showtime . Seems like Ruilli,Conceicao and Fitz-Jim were the best and clearly Wijndal ,Sanchez,Bassey and Lucca the worst.

Victor Jensen has just returned from a year's loan in Norway,can leave this month, but comes on for 25 mins !! Why on earth was Vos not played,17 year old with a great future.At least Hato came on .

At least we won 2-0 and the first was a penalty.

Could only watch the 2nd half as the feed was very poor in the 1st. Ajax keep a clean sheet and win 2-0 with goals by Tadic (from the spot) and Taylor. Rulli looked good in goal with nice passing but Den Bosch were poor and never threatened. Fitz-Jim is so good on the ball always calm with his passes. 2nd half substitutes were Rassmussen for Conceincao, Jensen for Taylor, Aertsen for Rensch and 16 year old Hato for Wijndal. Let's hope the ill players are better by the weekend.

It was a boring game.

I also like the look of Fitz-Jim - seems like a technical, composed type of midfield passer. I hope he can bring this to the first team in the second half of the season.
