05 NOV 2019; Chelsea - Ajax; CL Group Match 4

Ajax travel to London for a Tuesday night meeting with Chelsea. Both teams are even on six points. Chelsea edged past bottom of the table Watford yesterday. I watched a fair amount of the match and it was helter skelter for some long stretches. IMO, both Ajax and Chelsea are equal and I assume that everyone being healthy that Ajax will start with the same lineup as in the last two league matches with still a question of who starts at RB. Neither Dest or Mazraoui have shown great defensive prowess and Chelsea have plenty of speed down the left side. I would like to see a repeat of Ajax away form from last season but maybe a more probable outcome would be a draw. It's going to be a good match as both teams like to attack.

I like Dest but I feel Nous gives us more balance. He's a slightly better defender and doesn't push up as much as Dest and doesn't get caught out as often. Because of that, Nico is able to get up the field and we have overlaps happening on both sides.

With Dest, the only play so far is mid-field overload.

Wonderful 45 mins and good goals .2 were OG but Ziyech's cross for the 3rd was really special ,goalie knew nothing about it.

All to play or as our defence is not great but lets get a 4th

How is that not offside? Are you serious? The ball was deflected towards Azpilicueta while he was in an offside position. This doesn't make any sense to me at all.

Absolutely no idea how we didn't allow any more goals and amazed that VAR over-turned their 5th. Maybe UEFA thought you couldn't screw a team that bad using VAR.

Their 2nd was offside, the foul by Blind which led to his 2nd yellow was right after a foul on an Ajax player wasn't given. The 2nd penalty was slightly a joke and have no idea how that is a yellow. Don't care if the rule-book says it's a yellow. Nothing to say for the 4th - just a melee outside the box by that time.
