Lots of matches coming up in a relatively short period with the conclusion to the Eredivisie race, the Champions League semifinal and the Beker. Tomorrow Ajax host Vitesse in what seems to be an endless number of must win matches. PSV are away to Willem II who are in decent form and still in contention for the Cup and a Europa League place.

this will be another difficult game. vitesse have played very well the last 5-6 games, both at home and away. buttner will be suspended and karavaev is injured but they still have linssen who scored a hattrick, bero and odegaard. sluitsky saying they will play 5 in the back so our team better have a bit more energy and vision than in the groningen game.

Another 'must win' -- but beyond winning we should do all we can to run up the score -- we have a nice GD cushion, but there's no such thing as too much.

Unfortunately, start time is in the wee hours of the morning in my time zone, so I'm going to have to miss watching it -- I'll read all the posts in the morning. On the bright side, at least I will still have my fingernails.

Rumours about both De Ligt and Blind missing this game through injuries picked up against Groningen. Hopefully one of them is able to play and partner Magallan in defense.

That turned out to be either false news or the pair is going to play through injuries. Hopefully they don't make the injuries worse in this game.

That did look like a penalty on that handball from Odegaard. In my opinion he seemed to point his arm down to take some sting out of the ball.

Everyone is trying to get Dolberg to score. I feel for out of form strikers. When it rains it pours like it did for Dolberg in 2017.

This experiment of Veltman partnering with De Ligt is turning out to be an abject failure.
